其實多彈歌仔, 打好基礎, 比起考級更重要.  考級係一個認定, 同給孩子目標. 但做基本功做得好, 再上會無咁吃力.  Anyway, your daughter is very good.

八卦問 - 學校會介紹琴老師比學生, 我係第一次聽?? 老師是個人 or 掛單於琴行/中心之類? 因我也在密識老師, 了解下有沒有G8 theory in small group上堂.

各位,
之前提過想同阿女唔讀tom lee, 不過同老公相量後, 最後都係學落去先. 原因係阿女上左last 一堂 (即係每個月交4堂學費既最後一堂), 阿女好唔開心同我講: 以後見唔到miss 喇, 唔捨得呀! 我見佢好想上堂, 所以都係上住先, 佢真係唔鐘意先stop.

彈多d唔同既歌都好架, 而且基本功真係好緊要

我唔知你既小朋友彈成點, 如果係基本功或者本身條件唔適合既, 遲d考8級都無妨, 最緊要係小朋友鍾意彈, 同埋進度理想

如果條件配合, 而唔考8級既原因只係因為怕小朋友無目標, 呢個我有保留, 要有目標好多方法, 一個例子, 我前老師個女, 本身好有talent, 所以好細個, 小學已經考埋diploma, 係LTCL 喎, 唔少野架! 結果我前老師要佢考完FTCL 之後, 再考ABRSM, 由8級開始再考!

去參賽、去表演都可以係目標既一種, 佢有能力既, 甚至可以將目標定去係某某某比賽要拎到乜乜名次添

好多謝你地既意見, 我完全唔擔心幾時考8級呢個問題. 只係我覺得我囡囡有個好奇怪既特性, 而家個老師比番淺d既歌佢彈,同佢之前彈較深既歌既進度沒有多大分別, 例如, 她於年幾前彈過一首sonatina 參加tom lee 既一個sonatina 比賽, 當時我覺得佢有d 越級(當時仲未考三級試), 雖然未能拿到什麼獎項, 和未能做到較高深技巧, 但所有(前)老師要求到既都做足晒(背譜, 大細聲, 拍子), 最近, 現任老師再教同一首sonatina, 我感覺上囡囡沒有明顯既進步, 現在我較為擔心既是她失去那份熱情, 所以都幾矛盾, 她比較喜歡向難度挑戰, 但就欠缺細心, 如果給她繼續上又怕她身體機能未能配合, 佢而家就對小提琴興趣好似大d

依家彈番同一首歌都唔緊要, 聽唔出有乜分別都未係重點, 反而我比較concern 係依家既老師係要佢自己做樂曲既要求, 還是好似之前既老師甘, 乜都講晒俾個小朋友知, 小朋友好似機械人甘, 反射性甘做老師要求既野

小朋友鍾意挑戰仲好啦, 就算係一首學過既歌, 都可以要求佢做得更好, 做得更幼細, 雖然話做到晒老師既要求, 但歌既野, 永無執完既一日, 點執都好, 都仲係有野要再執靚

如果真係怕佢無興趣, 而佢能力應付到既, 不妨叫老師教多一首歌, 不過唔好太難喎, 呢首歌係甜品, 應該係佢開心甘彈既, 等佢多d機會接觸唔同既歌, 希望佢可以積極d彈琴

i'm agree with kcarol "而且機會既野, 老師可以提供, 但學生自己都要多d搵機會參與表演之類" like my daughter's piano teacher, she will hold a student concert once a year , and encourage her students to get performance experience. and besides that she also recommend them to join different competition according to their ability.
btw, i'm also want to know which school introduce piano teachers to the parents ? and are they related to music company or private one ?

Application to APA is highly competitive, but there are many good teachers who do not teach in APA too !!  You can view the application information on the HKAPA website.

yup, my daughter's piano teacher is very patient. i also like her idea of student concert, can gain experience without competitive pressure

my gal usually practise 30 mins on weekdays and a little more time on weekends, she's grade 2 now

same as u , about 2 years and something, i think if my gal can sit and pay full attention while she practise, 30 mins for her during weekdays is quite enough and usually she practise more on sun and sats

yes i also agree that student concert is good, actually i hope her teacher can hold 2 per year ..but she 's only hold one per year now ...

My daughter played piano for 3 yrs and more. We expect her to practice 30 mins in weekdays. But most of the time cannot meet this requirment. Even sometimes no practice in weekdays as the so many homework.

Thanks for your advice. Piano concert is a very good chance and target for children's long term piano practice. Sometimes, kids( even the parents) are very easy get boring with piano practice without any target or motivation. Even your kid join the examination. The examination content is also rather boring.
You are right, actually the piano teacher is not introduced by school directly. The teacher is private and
