Your analysis is very logical, "全統而又出名的 DGS/SPCC/GHS, 機會不大".  In your opinion, which DSS is good in terms of standard and conduct for mid band 1 students?  Most DSS are very new, so really don't know which is good.

Besides, is 李國寶's students behaving well?  I saw that some of their foreign students are indians, and some BK parents said that the students are not behaving well...    Can you please give some advice?  Thanks.

Dear WYmom,

If mid-band 1, for girl, I recommend to try GHS & St Paul Convent.  可以看高一線, 唔得等抽獎.  If your kid is in Kln City / YauTsimMong, and well plan in round 2, he/she must be going to EMI, 只係有沒有名氣的分別.

For band 1 kids, I don't recommend them to choose new DSS such as 李國寶, 顏寶玲, 將軍澳保良局xxx......之類.  Because you can get a seat easily when result was announced if you don't satisfy the result.

Yes, 李國寶's students 比較開放, I personally don' t like it.

For mid-band 1 - GHS / St Paul Convent

GHS has closed already, I think the result has also
been announced in early Feb as per my last year experience.

St Paul Convent - later closing date, you better to check in web-site.  Last year, they requested candidates to do book report & presentation.

DGS & SPCC only accept top band 1.

Thanks, 哈里波特.  I am preparing for next year, 07/08.  There will be more new DSS/private schools coming, such as PLK CKY Secondary, Creative Secondary, Renaissance College etc by 06 or 07.  All will use IB programs, so wait and see.

選中學真的很苦惱，亦好疲倦！我兒子自選選了QE伊中(已知詢老師意見)，但截止後才知道成千人爭32個位，仲要自選是先收自已相熟的，現在有點無奈。
現在直資(優才)取錄了，不知如何決擇？

你小朋友係唔係Band 1頭的學生, QE round 1 真的唔易入, 你係邊個net?  如係band 1頭學生, 去到名校亦唔會太辛苦.

是否去直資, 我會睇小朋友係邊類型, 及經濟是否許可.

小女經已先後到兩間直資面試，雖然本身成績不是太出衆但如老師所言，有面試的實在對小女有利，相信取錄的機會很大。經過面試後及回想起之前你對小女的分析，現在亦沒之前那樣緊張及徬徨 月底將會知結果到時再來報告

請不要給自己和女兒太大的壓力。

覺得選校首選校風，次選成績。以自己女兒心儀的學校及成績作出選擇，讓她讀得開心又輕鬆。

有個別學校老師期望學生家長選一些較學生成績高的學校，令學生更進取；另一個原因是學校壓力及老師間之競爭和比較，不要太介意老師和別人的意見。

中中也有出色的好學生。

其實好慚愧之前我都係這樣想，都是這樣說，但當事情來臨就已經大亂腳…
