SH K1 2006

咁多位考到SH的媽媽，有事詢問各位意見：
本人女兒現在已入讀其他幼稚園K1，但SH一直是我地兩公婆的DREAM SCHOOL,今年我們幸運地考到上午班，但本人奶奶說咁大讀K1,(02年10月底出生)，佢會自卑，我話點會呀，應該有自信才對，如果學校認為真係超齡，自然唔會收啦！現在交

You are right, she would have more confident for being a big girl in the class, my girl is at the end of Nov 00 and she is now in K2, I saw her big changed in these few months. (I let her repeat K2 this year)

As long as your kid still recognized by EMB as 適齡 for P.1 would be fine.  Secondly, how your kid's thought -- depends on how you pamper & massage.  Another question, if so, why you still enroll & think as your dream school??

My girl is also studied in K1 in SH, she is the smallest girl in the class (borned in Dec).  Compared with her classmates, she is like a little baby.  SH is keen on accepted the big girl as no intensive care is required.  

I am also recommended you to let her repeated K1 in SH, children is very easy to adapt the new environment.   When I find the Primary school for my eldest daughter (now in K3) and experience told me that most of the private school is keen on to accepted the big girl.  Of course, there is a lot of "smart" small girl.  

I think the reason why you chose the SHK for you daughter, mostly because of her primary school.  If you really want your daughter to study in SH primary, you should let her repeat K1.  THe SH primary (private section & afternoon) curriculum is  very tough.

Also is it true that SH Primary (pm private) section will accept 100% of SHK graduates?

And since SH Primary am is Gov school, it only accept students from lucky draw?   i.e. graduates from SHK don't have any advantages?

SH Primary
AM section is private school; and
PM section is Government aided school

I know that girls can enter into private (am section) direct from SHK.  If you want the pm section - gov't aided school, then you have to enter the big lucky draw.

Dear Domanfans,

Heard from the parents, there was a lot of exam and test in SH primary.  And the English curriculum of SH primary (am private section) is studied the P2 books for P1 students.  

The homeworks were not so tough in SHK.  NC will start their homeworks from 2nd semester.  LK and UK's homework were moderate and children can finish it very fast.

Don't worry, SHK is a very very good kindgergarten. All the children are enjoys their school life very much and the school is pay much attention to moral education.

All the SHK graduates can direct go to their primary am secton.  No interview is required.

The SH primary (pm section) is gov school, you should go into lucky draw if you want to get a seat there.
