My daughter has been accepted to Harbour Heights's Cant / Eng but PM class, but this is my 3rd choice, in fact we applied for AM class, and select Mand/Eng as 1st choice, then Cant / Eng as 2nd choice, I wonder whether they've made mistaken my application.  Any moms here been assigned not to their 1st or 2nd choice?

Besides, I didn't see that for Harbour Heights, we have an option to select 3 or 5 classes a week.  Does anyone know whether we can choose 3 days per week for HH campus?

we got our 4th choice!! and no, HH didn't have choices for 3 days per week. i think it is only happening in homantin and belcher garden locations, and from the comments of the other moms, they didn't choose the 2 or 3 days plan!!

維記學費每個月3900呀, 番星期一至星期五....而且要俾足十二個月添...你自己計數啦...不過普通baby應該剩係可以報 英/粵班...因為佢個英/普班, 剩係俾講普通話小朋友讀架! 所以就算我報

I remembered we have over five choices to select priority.... well... my first priority is Mandarin/English in AM class, second if Cantonese/English in AM class and the third is Mandarin/English in PM class...then my son was assigned to the second one....
I had only marked three choices... ummmm.. in my memories, they have different class for choosing... five days a week or three days a week or two days a week.... all my choices were five days.

今天去蘇浙 interview, 因為我有 relative 正在讀﹐ 所以好大機會入到﹐ 不過是下午班﹐ 但是今天可能是假期﹐ 老師沒有帶我們去四圍看看﹐ 我也不太清楚環境﹐ 現在還沒決定讀蘇浙﹐ 明慧 (International) 或是嶺南﹖﹖﹖﹖
因為明慧是國際﹐ 又是上午班﹐ 但是蘇浙是普通話﹐ 但是下午班﹐ 我不太喜歡﹐ 嶺南出名﹐ 又是上午班﹐ 但是太遠﹐ 我不太喜歡廣東話教學﹐ 大家給我意見好嗎﹖﹖﹖﹖﹖﹖﹖

for us also, we chose put/eng am class as 1st choice for our son.  if for a cantonese/eng class, we need not go so far because we live on the kowloon side.  so now that he has also been accepted in the afternoon class only, it is highly unlikely we will want him to go there!  too bad, our kids could have been classmates!!

你們成日話維記貴﹐ 咁有沒有想過明慧 (International)﹐ 靈糧堂﹐ 寶血﹐ 它們都是有普通話﹐ 和英文﹐ 點解只是喜歡KCS (普通話) 和維記呢﹖﹖﹖﹖﹖﹖﹖

維記話明普通話班要parents說普通話先收﹐ 又貴﹐ 又commercial, 又看不起人﹐ 又不pro, 我個女正在讀playgroup, 個鬼佬的英文好難聽﹐ 有 accent but ugly﹐ 我都沒有報維記N1﹐ 真係唔抵得你們“鐘”個頭埋去

Me too, my daughter has also been accepted by 蘇浙 for am class, but for Victoria, only pm class.  Which campus of Victoria that you kid been accepted to?  Our main concern about蘇浙 is that the lesson time for English is only about 20 mins per day, which compared to Victoria which they claimed the proportion for cant vs eng is half and half.  Is this true?  I’m not very concerned about mandarin because my daughter is and will keep attending mandarin class.

其實我已交了明慧 (International) 及嶺南留位費﹐ 都要成$千幾塊﹐ 好彩蘇浙3月才要交留位費﹐ 但我很大機會選擇明慧 (International)讀N1﹐ K1再報寶血和靈糧堂﹐ 因為我覺得英文比較重要﹐ 明慧﹐ 寶血和靈糧堂﹐ K1都有普通話﹐ 普通話不要有accent. 要讀好普通話﹐ 有心機不太難﹐ 而且蘇浙只收我個女下午班﹐ 明慧上午班﹐ 上午班比較好﹐ 明慧 (International) 應該不錯﹐ Do you agree?

My daughter is accepted by Ming Wai Int'l am class, and it cost around $3,000 per mth, they said every day will speak in English with native english teacher and 20 mins with Cantonese teacher.  K1 will start to teach Mandarin, since I will try 寶血和靈糧堂 also for K1 and will see how it goes in Ming Wai, and I do care about English accent more than Mandarin accent, if Ming Wai is good, I properly, keep her in Ming Wai
As I have studied all the way in Hong Kong and never go to University and overseas, I also can speak English and Mandarin but, of course, is Chinese accent, but what's wrong with it?????
What I am doing now for my daughter is just because I do what I can prepare for my daughter now!  I can still have a good job and commincate well with English and Mandarin speaker.  So I think I will most likely choose Ming Wai instead of KCS as I believe Mandarin accent is not that important..... Do you all agree?
