In BK, what we need are discussions but not achievements. I learnt from my kid's kindergarten teacher how my kid was taught to recognize left/right and single/plural numbers, which I have never thought about.

I agree your calculation is correct and believe wunma also understands the meaning behind. However, I think a primary student cannot understand the meaning of balance of unit, nor the unit of 粒/盒. As a result, it use a simplified approach. I also think that they do not have the concept of using blanket. In addition, it is very strick in using unit in primary. As I remember, my primary taught me this

7個x9 = 63個
28粒 ÷ 4粒 = 7盒

Wunma一向都有用blanket。只是Cow話冇blanket可接受。如果你有子女讀初小，我相信你就不會和Wunma爭論，或起碼語調會不同。Wunma說的都是事實。

Again ChiChiPaPa 和 Wunma, 讀書是要求真理,而不是死板地去聽從. 同意, 可能如你所說, 大部初小是這樣教小朋友, 但如知正確的道理, 為何不改正過來呢

究竟列式答案應該怎樣?

註：留意以上的應用題, 一定要有"點題", 所以答案是: 共有小球63個.

KWT，可不可以開估。究竟老師的完整official answer or sample answer是甚麼。除了cow外，好像沒有人認同可以最後才加單位，而又沒有括號。似乎大部份人過去都是學"7個x9 =63個"，這和新的課程不太一樣。

"28粒 ÷ 4粒/盒 = 7盒

My teacher also taught me as that before, I think the concept is very important.
