英文拼音重唔重要?.......請發表意見

我女同你小朋友個case差唔多,都係4年幼稚園都有學,但我女學得好簡單,到而家小一佢一星期的net當教,我覺得雖然教的進度慢,但反而令佢記憶深d,因為課程無乜壓力,多數係唱歌等活動俾佢地去記!!!

係呀,我都覺咁樣好,課堂要活動性高,唔好令小朋友覺悶,等佢地慢慢學,每隔一段日子,老師又會同佢地溫番學過既,吸收得好d,記得又多d,佢而家係屋企仲做埋我小老師教我phonics

係呀,佢雖然教得慢,但教幾多真係可以吸收到幾多丫嘛,我自己又無學過phonic,所以都係個女教我咋,我都無乜心機真係要學,但阿女反而覺得自己係小老師而"用心"去教我,咁佢課堂上無壓力,返到屋企又可以做小老師,所以學得好用心!
而家佢間中都開ABC個網頁玩phonic games,不知玩得幾開心,簡簡單單一兩個game又可以溫習番d發音!!!
我認為某d小朋友真係天生好叻,小小年紀除左返學應學的知識外,真的可以兼顧到其他,咁俾佢地認真一d去學d正統係無問題,亦唔會浪費左佢地o既天份,但我自問個女一般,我唔想每日辛苦返學做功課外再兼顧太多,所以"足夠"就可以了,而家佢學得開心又能學以智用,幾好丫!

但長遠計我都好想佢學IPA, 想請教幾多歲學比較適合?  
如p4先學會否太遲 ?

I remember when I was a kid, we didn't use phonics at all. And i think it took me until F1 or F2 before I started to learn how to pronounce words properly.

I think Phonics is an essential and helpful tool to teach pronounciation in infant stage and can start as early as 1 or 2 years old by starting to teach "a b c d" as "ah ba ca da" etc. though it may seems a bit odd when you sing the abc song!

In advance stage, they will start to learn the "st, sh , sp , ch" sound etc. They also leran that many words ends with a silent "e".  You also learn about the exception case.

Phonics can help a lot in terms of reading or conversing the language. It also helps in unseen dictation but please note that's not the purpose of learning phonics, just a by-product.

Do you know that, learning to speak English is harder than French, German or Latin in terms of just pronouncing correctly since there are so many exceptional cases in English. In French or Latin, if you can grasp the basic phonics skills, you can speak correctly 90% of the time since there are so few exceptions in these languages.

By the way, every Chinese word is unique and an exception by itself! I think it's one of the most difficult language to learn!

Absolutely correct , IPA is a must for all HK students.
If Phonics is a knife then IPA is a gun , see the difference !!

No problem , suggest to learn Phonics at early stage , absorbe the common tool - Phonics then go into professonal tool - IPA.
You may start IPA at later stage of Primary , say P5-P6.  but too bad the fact is that only very few schools will teach students IPA , because there are very few HK teachers knowing IPA    , you may need to get help from extenal, e.g. http://www.ipa.edu.hk/

Can you pm more info. to me, eg. $, place and is it foreign teacher.

My kid now is 3.5 years.  Do you think it is too early for her to study the phonics?
