just for your information.
my friend asked teacher in SC, below are some comments:
1. this year has huge number of applicants, more than before.
2. standard of children is very good, most of the applicants can answer all the questions, so the competition is very vigourous; they also find it very difficult to choose.
3. In views of a better adminstration, for so many applicants, they cannot compare everyone of them case by case, all depends on a system of marking scheme, assessed by individual interviewer.
4. Besides those accepted or allocated on the waiting list, some applicants are rejected by letter.

so may career of parents contribute to some marks, we don't know the proportion. Sometimes we feel that our children perform so excellant, actually many children are better, or after counting so many parameters, your total mark falls within the normal group in which lucky draw is required.

Dear HuiTung,

Do you mind telling me which English lesson you think is good for kindergarten kids?  Nottingham? Anymore?

I also want to find a NET for my boy but don't know how?  Do you have any idea?  (Can I post a notice at Park'N supermarket?)

Ooops, got it.  NET = Native english teacher     :
