It was a matter of "SMILE FACE" after all...

Most parents here regret for their child being "nervous without a smile face + volume too low".

On the other hand, those teachers being "serious without a smile face + volume too low" upset some parents.

Most funny of all, my husband told me that I had left the interview room without a smile face, and he gave me a long face for that.

繼然都已經考左, 當然想知道取錄結果啦, 亦當然希望會係好結果啦, 呢D係人之常情黎.  不過讀唔讀, 最終揀唔揀佢又係另一問題.........  


以我為例, 陳守仁本來係我首選, 但經過面試既情況, 依家就已變為次, 次, 選囉........

from my point of view, my girl did not stand out at all in the presentation session, little bit shy, low tone, poor content etc, but I believe she has tried her best. (she was happy about the whole interview though), let's see.

a little bit more to share (after learning from a HR professional), group interview is designed for top applicants and in general stressful for most people.

This interview type will even be intimidating if the applicants ARE NOT THOROUGHLY PREPARED, that's why it is a must-do practice for the interviewer to inform the applicants well in advance.

In brief:-
a. parents who comprehend better communication material (the 2nd-in letter & website info etc.)
b. parents who understand the challenge ahead better (people with sufficient group interview experience/skill or academic knowledge will know immediately what is going on)
c. parents who prepare their child in the right way...will get through.

Being all top applicants, when facing a stressful interview, parents who prepare their child by over trained, harsh push or punishment etc. will not be able to perform.  Parents who prepare their child by ease, caring and support etc. will then easily get through.

Just to quote an example:- A parent couple in front of me was fighting to gain entrance to the 2nd-in room, the School Head Mrs Li & a male teacher had to stop one of them in doing so, this somehow demonstrated themselves that they did not read carefully the 2nd-in letter or school website, and the announcement made in the school hall etc.

我個女今年P.2, 記得舊年上學不久, 佢講英文已明顯由單字變句子, 日日都講住老師, 只要話佢知, 你咁樣寫老師會開心d, 你又學多d. 佢就會話 : 真ke?! 好啦好啦, 咁就咁寫啦. 我話: 辛苦d喎?! 佢都會話: 唔緊要啦, 老師開心d嘛 . 相信各位會明白, 如果先生唔好, 學生會這樣嗎? 即使今年佢話最想星期四, 因可到教員室找這老師.

前兩天佢比張紙仔我睇, 上面寫, To Miss Ng, I like you. Do you like me ?(Yes/No) . 老師回覆寫著, Very much! Why can I not love a lovely girl like you! 重畫個個公仔係上面. 這是今年的英文科老師.
所以我個女好開心咁比我睇, 跟住又開開心心咁溫書.

我不否定亦同意有些老師比較少笑容, 如她今年的中文科老師就是, 但我女女仍然在不知不覺間, 竟然用普通話同我講話, 話要練多d, 因為有一天佢話老師話佢雖然有發音錯, 但她肯試, 所以在課室讚她. 記得開學頭一個月, 佢成日話想轉科, 唔想上普通話.

校長的努力更不用多說啦.   

希望能給真心想進此學校的家長一點信心.

今日係仔仔學校高班旅行日, 同D家長傾開考TSL時, 先發現無邊幾個同學仔入到2nd Interview, 除左我個仔........, 令我突然覺得原來自己個仔仔都算幾叻 (之前我仲去怪責佢2nd In 時講野太細聲添). :

所以各位家長, 無論最終結果係點, 無論TSL 2nd Interview攪得幾差, 你地都要為自己既子女感到驕傲, 佢地係頒自己既實力打贏1,500個對手, 爭取到第2次面試的
