Just a suggestion: studying in SPCC may benefit your future grandson/grand-daughter (since SPCC is a co-ed school)though this may be something too far away ...

Both St. Paul's Co-ed and DGJS are good. I think choosing either one is more a personal decision, and cannot be wrong.

For sure, those BK moms with kids in St. Paul's Co-ed and DGJS are in a very good position to make a comprehensive comparison for us. I hope Rachthew will help.

both are good, but there are also other things to consider, whether you like a unisex or co-ed surroundings. that's one of the main considerations for parents.
i agree with some parents' postings above:
DGS tends to put more emphasis in english and competitions etc. whereas SPCC less in english but more in moral education.
i always think that SPCC is harder to get into than DGJS, coz i remember in the past, i succeeded in DGJS interview but got rejected by SPCC!!
DGJS students have more self-confidence but also more snobbish than others.

Probably right. For DGS, a girl competes with other girls; while for SPCC, she competes with both boys and girls.

My colleague's daughter attempted both DGS and SPCC last year. While the girl didn't get even a second-interview from SPCC, she got into DGS straightly.

Same as one of my friend. Her daughter was accepted by DGJS but rejected by SPCC.  She said she didn't like SPCC.

The homework session is supervised by teachers.  The Principal told us that kids in P. 1-3 can finish their homework in school.  When they are older, they may use the session for doing projects.

其實BK討論區都係比人發表下意見啫，我諗有唔同既意見都有權發表掛？所以都係心平氣和咁去討論好啲．既然你唔係局外人（我就肯定係局外人），咁你一定知得比我呢啲局外人多啦，不如講多d關於呢兩間學校既嘢比各位BK友聽啦！例如可以比較下兩間學校既功課，考試壓力，教法，學校鍾意揀邊類學生，邊間學校d學生家長多Benz等等，我諗大家都會好多謝你．

有樣嘢我覺得好有趣，就係唔知點解每次d討論涉及某女校，都會有啲較為”激烈”的發表．我上個月睇番d舊年既討論，發現一講到某女校，就會有啲火花出現．Msma,我記得你舊年都有份就某女校發表意見．．．．．．．．．．．
