Re: 中學排名
S 寫道:
Let's get the facts right.
HFCC has 160 secondary places. A max of 85% or 136 could go to HFCS primary section.
In each HFCS primary school, there are 68 students (i.e. 2 classes from each school). HFCS (Kln City) has 46% band 1 students and 40% band 2. It also has 84% of its primary students going to the secondary section (i.e. band 3 students can't get into HFCC). Assuming HFCS (KT) has similar banding and admission rate to secondary, a total of 114 HFCS students would be admitted to HFCC, short of the maximum of 136 that could be allocated to HFCS. It is more about class structure of HFCS primary.
In the future, the two HFCS primary schools will have 238 graduates (7 classes) each year, vs. a max of 136 places offered by HFCC secondary. So you have to be the top 57% to be admitted to the secondary. Chances are that most primary students to HFCC will be band 1 or top quartile of band 2.
Just want to add 3 points:
1. There are already 3 classes in 嘉諾撒聖家學校, with 103 graduates in 05. For 嘉諾撒聖家學校(九龍塘), there should be 66 graduates in 05.
2.It seems that HFCC secondary may increase its places to 200. So the competition may not be so keen. Parents of primary students should not be too worry about this.
3. Under the existing allocation mechanism, HFCC is not allowed to select top quartile of band 2. It has to be assigned by random among the band 2 students. |
