the English language training is excellent at York, my girl learned phonics via letterland there, and she can read storybook and pronounced the words and sentences clearly. at k1, parents would be invited to sit in their class and observe their learning. York's teachers used activity-based learning to teach English words and meanings, and the whole class enjoyed the learning process. teachers there are very nice and with experience, especially for the local class teachers and net teachers. they have heart to teach and care about the kids.
York also organized different kinds of events for kids to have different exposures, like international week, Christmas dancing event, Halloween party, charity event, Charles shows.....all are free of charge. the school picnic is well-organized every year. teachers let kids know the good behavior at wetland park, how to use environmental materials to protect the farm, ..... in advanced. they taught kids the picnic songs written by York's teachers. there would be a new song for each year.
for primary school application, my girl got 3 offers and 2 second-in.
