Victoria (Ho Man Tin) School Fee By End April

Hi idachan,

my son also admitted by Victoria(HMT) & HKPS(Fo Tan) and finally i choose victoria.

Reasons:
1. they have more joint school activities like sport day last sat.
2. the school is famous at HK side
3. new school setup and the environment is ok

But my worry is the esclator as it's dangerous for small kids using that.

How's your comment?

Me too, 頭都大 and drive me crazy la.  But is Victoria will be more emphasis in English?

我諗我都會讀維記,樂基唔係唔好,其實這幾天我都周圍問人意見,我發覺兩間都有彈有讚，讀緊樂基（Kln Tong)的媽媽有些都話OK，英文有進步，又有媽媽話老師麻麻地，我初初以為樂基有outdoor好，原來有媽媽話返學要貼蚊貼，而維記我擔心這間幼稚園會否太商業化，唔知老師夠唔夠愛心及經驗，因為在九龍區始終是新，優點當然是有名氣在（香港區），環境設施新，英文好（只是聽人講）我諗維記在九龍打頭炮，唔會做壞自己個名呱，因為我囡囡要讀toddler班，只是用英文�粵語，這點我就覺得不理想，我想入英�普班的 :cry: 你地有無辨法呀 而電梯問題我都有擔心過，但因為我會搭校車關係，是會乘坐lift 的，不會比小朋友用電梯的．

我反而希望先讀英粵班, 到稍大才考慮轉英/普通話或再補習普通話, 因為本人在家已很少用粵語, 我怕小兒母語(粵語)未能達到起碼的要求, 因為英/普是沒有粵語的, 反而英粵班會加入普通話活動. 此外, 將來是否讀傳統學校, 還是維記仍未可知, 完全未能對粵語有所掌握反而是一個問題. 而年紀太少, 亦怕令小朋友產生語言混淆, 這是本人就本人的情況的意見, 以供參考

我係2號收到信，Victoria通知已經收左我仔仔am session，叫我５月９號前交錢留位，我決定報讀，我想請教一下一些媽媽，是否3600後每月沒有雜費，但聽講有個圖書館要交月費，比左錢先可以借書回家，你們有沒有聽過？

仲有，我聽人講九龍校的老師及所有ｓｔａｆｆ不是新的，是他們的ｈｋ區某一間校舍結業，固原斑人馬遷到九龍區開新校工作，此事是否真？有無一些媽咪聽過？

今年維記40周年, 加上新入主九龍辦學, 相信校方必定全力以付, 打響名堂, 加上行IB, 我十分有信心 :wink:

My deadline is 09 May, I am thinking just let Tsz Chuen study Victoria and see if it is good.  If not, we still could apply another one which still have vacancies.

其實我都不太清楚, 應該在太古城/康怡 (?) 一帶有三間維記, 按地理分上中下, 我只聽到他們說中康怡.....

Are you considering Victoria for PN & K1?

Because my son will be in PN and so I think I can observe how's the school performance before I consider K1 for him.

無論選那一間都好, 如考慮做細仔入學, 讀PN是有幫助的, 起碼有正規訓練紀律,秩序及自理能力等等, 唔怕由K1才Warm up幾個月, 仲要同大仔比較, 到時唔想repeat都唔得, 相反, 先讀PN, 將來唔一定需要repeat, 而且在語言的關鍵期(0-3歲)得到適當的刺激, 即使他朝仍然要repeat k1, 至多花多一年學費,但小朋友紮根的基礎, 卻終身受用, 所以, 除非你是全職媽媽而又自信有辦法給予適當的培育, 否則, 我認為給小朋友由PN讀起是明智的.

actually, keen mind, hk pre-school (kln tong), cannan (kln tong) and victoria (hmt) all accepted my son for N1.  since i know victoria is good and new, but on the other hand, its location, no outdoor playground, no mandarin teaching, and the most expensive one (compared with these 4 kinders) are the elements i am considering.  at this moment, i guess i will let him studying for n1 and may enroll other kinders for k1 as my elder one is studying at another school (pls check pm).  

anyway, i have already asked victoria to let me have the trial class on may 21.  if i found it is suitable to my son, then enroll later.

我星期六去了trial class,妳們覺得怎樣呀?我的感覺是老師唔夠主動和小朋友玩耍,而且好似不是很喜歡小朋友似的,只是工作一部份,你們又有什麼啟發呀?
