講起‘錢’、英國既大學都可以係‘後門’收學生、紙要佢地被一大筆入學費。我有幾個舊同學就係係呢d名大學買位嫁啦。香港，千其唔好唸！

牛津大學醫學院，比五十萬都可以入到，當然唔計學費喇，這已是公開的秘密，不過唔擔保比你畢業架！

Good morning anxiousparents,
I agree with some of your points.
For the address matter, personally I think that there is no problem to borrow address from somebody for your dreamly net. I don't think the school will know that as there IS somebody thinking of or even done it already. Besides, the act of getting an address in your dreamly net will give parent a CHANCE in the draw only. We cannot do anything on the existing primary enrolment system but we can try every effort to get ourselves a chance, higher percentage....

I agree with: 抽入去很多人都跟不上 and I think that the kid will be very pressurized if they continue their study in the school. But I don't think the parent will let their kid to withdraw so easilly at the same time.

為了 "get a chance to study in your dreamly school" 而 "借" 地址--- 其實就是虛報地址
How about
1.為了領多點綜援而虛報與丈夫分居
2.為了領房屋津貼而隱瞞住處其實是自置物業或有關係人士所持有
"很多人都這麼做喎", 是否代表合法? 代表合理? 代表可接受?

可以選擇適合自己學校的學生不是最好嗎? 又唔駛搞到咁多父母要報假地址, 扮天主教, 找舊生做監護人!

比你地笑死, o甘都諗到.
我所知有3個case-
1. 有對教友父母, 個仔k1時已時不時去門口等校監出來, 第一次已對校監表明來意, 但校監話要抽架, 幫唔到架, 但教友父母無放棄, 如是連續2年一得閒就去等佢, 後來到叩門時刻, 校監就pass左佢囝囝既資料比校長等校長決定, 最後收左. 校監話2年來成日都見到既感覺已像朋友.
但你能夠像佢地o甘有怛心嗎? 重要厚面皮.
2. 壹週刊睇返黎, 城中名人向太都想個仔入LS, 於是差不多每天都去拜訪校長, 初初校長無見佢, 但佢風雨不改, 天天都去等, 直至校長終於見佢亦比個機會佢考, 後來都入到, 但一路讀上去成績都唔好, 後來上到中三都要走.
3. 我識對台灣人夫婦, 知道LS係好學校, 由k2下學期開始寄信到學校, 後來校長比佢囝囝interview, 用中文及英文問再加written test, 再in佢2夫婦, 後來得o左.

The reason why a lot of traditional elite schools (no names mentioned here) did not turn DSS is because they are mostly Catholic schools and they took an egalitarian view to education, and did not want the school to become unaffordable to the masses after becoming DSS.  [this is, as I understand, the reason given by at least one such school]

This is an eternal dilemma for schools - If you want quality control, you have to escape from the evil influence of the HK Government, but if you escape from the evil influence of the HK Government you have to charge more school fees.

入呢D學校要叩門真的要有恆心 + 面皮厚。
聽D高年班家長講，當年B嫂想個仔入華仁小學，真的日日上去，只是每朝望可撞到神父講聲”早晨”！如是這去左好耐好耐，佢個仔先入到架！呢個女人雖則唔係好女人，但為左個仔入到間好學校，真係咁風雨不改，厚住面皮架….
