但係我自己從來都覺得面試係靠自己，唔係你讀邊間學校
呢d係學校公報嘅資料，如果你要out LS出嚟，咪around 50%囉，但要記住，數據無提過呢d小朋友有乜offer，話唔定拒抽到LS又考到好學校架！所以，睇吓ok，太上心就無謂喇！

don't be so sensitive. i just pointed out the truth. many parents are still confusing the application procedure between private, DSS, aided and government schools.

哈哈，多謝你先。職業關係，接觸的學生都是名幼/名小/名中，老實講我唔覺得會有好大分別，亦不存在邊一間一定好過邊一間的問題，我只能說對於我所付的學費，我覺得是值的，但我小朋友又冇讀過kv/sc，我根本唔可以講其他兩間就係唔值，可能會更好都唔定，但佢更好可能只因為佢大個左，咁又點計?我都有學生是喇拔人，我又唔覺得佢地真係咁出眾，但就係咪代表佢地學校唔好?個別一兩個學生，我覺得唔足以反映一間學校的好壞，可能在呢個版好多家長覺得係人生交叉點咁難決定，但其實又係咪真係咁大影響?越講越遠~_~

其實唔單止km,我識唔少小朋友讀緊kv,sc嘅，都有係出面讀phonics or starter preparation courses. 我覺得除咗學校，屋企有冇英文語境對小朋友嘅英文程度有好大影嚮。

同時都睇家長要求o既，出外再補鐘唔一定係覺得唔夠，可能只想再勝一籌

我同事嘅仔仔，佢係sc 讀緊k3，佢仔仔已經係出面不同centres學左超過一年中、英、數啦！

都話你中肯架啦！我係前KM家長，現任SC家長，我都肯定唔到邊間好d，始終我仔KM只讀N1,SC都係讀緊K2。但對我來講，兩間都係好學校，各有長短處。同你一樣睇化，揀邊間真係分別唔係超大。KM走前我同阿仔班主任傾計，佢話SC都係好學校，阿仔咁聰明去邊間都會ok,唔駛咁擔心揀錯。呢一番令我釋懷，決定咗就順其自然，唔會諗有無楝錯。

家長的付出更重要，其實三間各有所長，如果讀任何一間父母肯跟都會好出色！

原來大家都係同行, 我都係教鋼琴同小提琴,
因為我有好多學生都係呢3間幼稚園出黎, 派位都係十分理想,
有個家長因為大女係KV, 細女係KM, 佢都話KM 比較好,
結果佢地都入左協恩
題外話: 你自己D小朋友係出去學琴定自己教??
因為我個仔唔聽我教, 我諗緊叫我考左AT同DipABRSM D學生教佢好定去柏X學
苦惱中.....

may i ask you if your niece studying in KM am or pm? PM is NET teacher as the tutor, english should be strong...i had an interview with NET and i think their English is native.... or may just your niece never speak English at home?

Hi, c-wong,

My case is similar to you, my son is now 2 yr-old and we speak eng with him since newborn, so, he only speak and understand eng now.  I am wondering when should i switch to speak in Cantonese with him.  Do you have any experience to share?

maybe i can share some of my experiences.. my kid can only speak English before PN ... later on, i found this is no good since lots of the kids nearby speak cantonese as communication language, he had less opportunities to develop his language skill... so i applied a cantonese-focus PN for him... at the first beginning, it was hard for him... after 3 months, the teacher told me he started to understand and had basic communication with them... i feel very happy with progress... now,he talks with his teach in cantonese in school and English with us at home.... so far so good!
