Bear in mind that the company name I got you is only one of the school bus companies.  However, I think they are willing to give you the right one which run the Tsing Yi route.  The school bus my girls takes are willing to take them and drop them right under my building because here they have 4 childrens in the same site.  So, it will also depends on the route they run.  They also need to make sure that the time for one route will not be that long as they also run the primary section which pick up time is earlier than the KG section.  

Regarding the school, well... I said it so many times already in this site.  It is really very depends on what is the parents' expectation.  Do you want your girl to have happy school life?  If yes, then St. Rose will give it to her because so far I have not heard any negative from both parents and the students.  If you are looking for high English standard  and more, then, this may not be the one.  Just as other parents mentioned, so far no dictation, few homework (my girl can finish the homework in 1/2 hour.).  But the school will encourage the students to do a lot of search in the subject they are teaching.  For example, right now they are learning about Chinese New Year.  So, words, things, pictures regarding the Chinese New Year will be tought and students will need to bring back things they cut from the newspaper, magazine or search from internet.  The school is using 螺旋式 teaching method.  So, the topic for K1, K2 and K3 are all the same, but K2 will cover more than K1 and K3 will cover even more than K2.  The topics in the 3 years will be very similar but every year your girl will learn a bit more than last year for the same topic.  The topics are mainly something of the month or current so the students will know more about their surrounding.  That's why to me it is teaching them more about the society them grammer and difficult words.  Everything they learn can be applied to their daily life.  So, come back to the question if the school is good, it is not perfect but good enough to me.  At least my girls enjoy their school lifes.

thanks your useful information for our parents that will study K1 at St. Rose in coming year.

Glad to know your daughter can enter Maryknoll, so i think your daughter must very smart.  

Actually, Maryknoll also my 1st choice for my daughter in future.  Could you please share your experience how to arrange and any comment on it.  
e.g. Maryknoll need very good result from KG or other hobbies (sport, music etc....).

I already replied your message.  However, I would like to repeat here that it is all depends on luck because it is based on the EMB's mark system nothing regarding if my girl is smart or not or any other hobbies taken.  I got 20 marks so I could join the lucky draw in 1st round.  If you want to know about this, you can visit the www.emb.gov.hk to check.

Regarding your comments about : 只是有d唔like佢o係界限街旁,空氣&噪音問題!!

I don't know why, but if you are outside the school, this is really big problem.   I asked my girl if she like to move to this area in order to closer to the school and she said no because it is too noisy.  However, once you enter the school, you don't really feel that big problem.  May be the open air area on the playground provide the distance.  Sometimes, I wait for my girls in the playground and I don't feel the problem at all.  But this is only my personal feeling.  It may be different from you.

Every parent will have their own concern.  Say, both my girls study in St. Rose, therefore, I can't give you any comments regarding other KGs.  Therefore, it is not really hard to compare the KGs by asking question in BK.  Unless the KGs is very bad or very good.  Being a famous KG should not be base on no reason.  Right?  Therefore, you can only go thru BK site to search and analysis the data you gather regarding the KG you selected and think if it is suitable for you.  

The boy lives next to me study K2 in Kentville.  I asked him today if he is happy in his school, does he has a lot of homework and it is difficult, all his answers are yes.  So, it is really very difficult to know if he really enjoy his school life unless you get the comments from his parent.  But then, just like me, I am only base on my girls comments.   However, I also think that a KG should teach the child to be a good person and help to build their personality in the right direction.  So, please also consider this factor other than the academic result.  

I do believe that children can very easy adapt into their school life, so may be it is only we, parents, worry about them.  So, make the decision base on your need and your will.  Still you can choose to change the school in K2 if you think it is necessary.  So, don't worry too much about your choice right now.
