I apologize if my wordings hurt your feeling. Actually, what I would like to express is to specify your questions which properly helps for your school hunting (that’s from my experience).

BTW, I can tell that you are a good parent as you concern your kid a lot. I think most parents want to offer the best to the kids but just too many factors that out of our control.

Yes, my kid did register TSL for 2005 P1. At the same time, we registered an int'l school. We haven't made the final decision as there are quite a few things to consider.

1) $
TSL: Cheaper
Int'l school: Expensive
2) Campus
TSL: smaller
Int'l school: nicer
3) Syllabus
TSL: switch to any local school without problem
Int'l school: hard to switch back to local school in case we can't afford the tuition fee by then
4) Teaching approach
TSL: certain amount of pressure in competing for an elite class <if parents want to>
Int'l school: much less pressure (but pressure for parents' $   )

As I said, comments for TSL are quite extreme. Some like it very much and some dislike it at all. So, it tells TSL may not meet some parents’ expectations.

Hey come on, I didn’t get hurt from your comments as I know you just want to share your point of view with me and I really want to thank you on it.

I come to BK is to have information gathered and are happy for those moms providing their valuable advice. Even we are having not same viewpoints but we can take it as advice.

Different people have different comments on the same school and I will get it as information and consider our own case. Like some moms said A school is harsh but some said they don’t think so and their kids love the school very much. It just like some like spicy food but some are not. The most important is we have to consider our own situation and make our own decision.

My girl is just K1 and I hope I can use the two years to observe her character and also the info of different school and try to find out which school will be much suitable for her.

You are right that there are many bad comments on TSL and also there are many good comments too. So I have to find out what the parents criticize on this school and also whether it is the problem of the school or it is due to the wrong matching of the student to the school.

I am a working mom and it is very important for me to find a school that I believe my girl can manage or else I have to think whether I should sacrifice the job and be a full time mom to take care of her.

BTW, what you consider when choosing the primary school for your own kid? According to the info you provide, you should not agree with the teaching method of local primary school and that’s why you registered the int’l school. Right?

one of my friends has read from newspaper about TSL ~one year ago . She said this school may have discipline problems .Anyone could give some opinions about the conduct of those students of TSL?
