How do you compare the Chinese lesson time
between ICS & ESF ?

DO ICS use only Mandarin ? no Cantonese ?

Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese ?

To answer your question. I have made the decision on selecting CAIS for my kid.
- more chinese lessons
- curriculumn is more suitable for me
- my kid will move to Canada some years later.
- bad experience with ICS (I was told the result will be release within 2 days after interview, but I did not recieve any news even after one week.  I called to the office to check and they claimed that they have to finish all the interviews, then they will let me know.  However, I voiced out they are taking inconsistance policy.  Some of the kids got accepted after the interview and I do not understand why this procedure has been changed.  Although they verbally confirm acceptance of my kid, I really don't like their attitude and the way they handled. Personally, I don't mind even if my kid is rejected, I really don't like their attitude and the way they answered to the parents over the phone.)  Having said that, ICS offer a good environment on English learning environment.  From what I see on interview that day, kid are talking to each other in English well.  But Chinese lesson is only once a week, which I really pefer more.

musical instrument there ?

How about the kid don't like music ?

I know it's difficult to swallow, but I really think that you have been too emotional on this. What's wrong ?

I think you should talk to ICS (or any related parties) in a mature way to see if the problem can be solved. Even if it can't be solved (I'm sorry about that), I think you should put it down -- for yourself, it's not healthy for you to be such emotional.

Sorry for being 多事, but I really hope that you can get over it and be happier.

I thought you mentioned that your child is settling well in the new school and I'm sure all those who felt your disappointment and anger would be happy for you.

If you truly want to pursue anything further, shouldn't you talk to the school or to those organizations that you've filed a complaint with and ask them for a reply?  I don't think venting your anger here would help.  Instead it only disrupts others' discussion and may even arouse negative sentiment against you.  Think about it.

I'm not taking the side of ICS in your incident.  I can't say a word to your case but I just don't think it worth you being so sentimental.
You should really put it down.

Hi tatmingpoon,

Being a parent, I can feel your pain.  No parent can stand the insult.  But please calm down, tell people more about your case and your feeling.  Being sarcastic may get attention but not understanding.  People can be both good and bad. Sometimes I doubt whether devil is just another side of the God when  he is angry.  Think about the people suffering in all kind of disasters.  You may make youself feeling more comfortable by sueing ICS.  But you have wasted so much of your precious time.  I think  it is easier for your son to recover, if you can spend more time to motivate him.  ICS owes you an apology, but don't go too far.  Bad experience may help us grow.  My son has lot of bad memories about his nursery school life in Good Time International Nursery (Fanling).  Now my son has recovered and he treasures the good teachers in his school.  He knows that not all schools are good, not all teachers are good.

All parents should keep their eyes open, talk to your children more, don't just believe the school.  Your children may be naughty but some teachers can be very very bad.
