From my knowledge.. only Victoria is one train IB from K to secondary school..
CPS & CSS is IB for all levels...

If you don't plan to let the kid study overseas at the end, I also don't suggest it to choose IB school from the beginning.... becuase the kid has to follow non-Jupas path otherwise..

I don't really like KV because 3 NOs (No NET, No PTH & No Phonics)... and it has no parents involvement at all... not even school picnics for 3 years... this is not we look for our kid..

I heard KV parents mentioned they don't need to bother their kids' homework at all.. they can handle them well on their own.. i guess many parents like this a lot..

In terms of the difficulty of IB, I guess your friend means a lot of parent participation is required if our kid study in IB school.. as they should use project based for learning...  a lot of research/presentation has to be done... then parents should help to search information etc.... As such.. when compared with school like KV... some ppl may think KV is better....

In conclusion,, there is no best school.. but the most suitable school to our kid...

我個仔唔鍾意坐定定學.. 要佢有興趣學要諗D有趣既教材..同佢好似玩遊戲咁學...
最後買咁套用木製既字母積木佢玩.. 仲有D字母卡有D窿可以放D積木上去..
同我個仔玩收埋... 將字母先收埋o係身後..再O係後面慢慢拎出黎問佢係咩字.... 要佢估... 跟住佢覺得好玩就日日叫"ABCD".. 叫我拎套野出黎同佢玩... 而家仲要做老師.. 要我地跟佢講每個字母...

顏色我個仔都係而家先認到...之前仲驚佢係色盲TIM~~

interview明我個陣見佢響大堂貼左張派位list,最頭係油天,但係我唔記得邊張多o的,記憶中兩間都幾多,係list埋first round同second round的資料,不知是否扣門有多些著數 ... 大家也是天主教!
不過我估cpskg既英文會好過明我!

我個小朋友相反, 到而家A-Z, 應該只係識A-E, 我冇咩點去教佢, 不過學校有教, 我就冇咩同佢溫

對我而言, 認得D 字母係好難既事, 暫時唔係太機會同生活上有得連繫, 所以我就放手等佢大一d先跟下

反而顏色方面佢12個月大已經認得一兩隻色, 之後去到唔夠24個月都識哂所有色!

thanks for your info. One of the reasons why I may not take LH/CPKG/SC is that I am not preparing my kid to study in an international school/ or a school which runs IB. As for KV, the thing I don;t like is exactly what you said - three Nos. But what I am thinking is it's really hard to teach a kid Chinese/ Maths while it's relatively easier to teach Kids English. I guess KV should have its strength but still, i am looking for a school which is like KV + Net. Perhaps KM is the choice? So I am eagering waiting for the offer of KM and HKPS.

I guess if one can help the kid with English, KV can be a good choice. But I doubt whether there is so much more to do if SC/LH/ CPKG is to be chosen.

我地唔係想小朋友入油天, 只不過剛才講開明我時, 我知道佢地多小朋友入油天, 先law出來傾下, 你講得o岩, 入到勁既學校都未必係好事, 不過唔洗擔心, 我地只係知道咩料law出去討論一下, thanks!

每個小朋友都有唔同既叻野..
我小朋友雖然識A-Z... 不過唔識順序背..因為我一開始就已經係RANDOM教唔同既字母.. 佢有興趣邊個字就教邊個先....
其實我一開始都冇諗住要教... 係我媽媽成日催我教..
我不勝其煩先教.. 其實我覺得等佢遲D番學先學都唔遲 (BTW,, 我小朋友到下年2月先插N班)...

我都覺得啟小英文會好過明我, 基本上冇學卷既學校資源會豐富過有學卷, 所以啟幼英文support好過明我, 我覺得係應該既!

我之前幾個月同我先生傾開 (當時仲未開始有收到offers) 就係如果所有非學卷既學校唔收我小b, 我地就比小b去讀政府學校, 慳番幾3千幾蚊比佢去學咩野都得, 我地好亞q 諗, 去plapgroup 係就係得1個鐘, 但係小班教學, class size 細, 比起學校既老師我地易d 接觸

所以我會建議一d 家長, 如果錢唔係一個大問題, 啟幼緊係好啦, 但唔想比幾千蚊一個月去讀既, 揀有學卷既, 再出去玩下playgroup好過!

因我果日去聽講座, 去左禮堂則既廁所...發覺好似全部都係FOR大人OR小學生....我自己係度諗咁高既廁所, 第時阿囡點去呢?? 仔同女係完全不同嘛....

ms 到我in時佢地已經冇問我英文字母, 反而我好朋既仔去in時, 應該係第一日, 就抽問A-Z, 顏色問到連灰/黑/白都問, 我估係唔係佢地今年開始冇學卷, 所以想d 野深d, 連interview既模式都改變呢!

到我in時已經問好淺既野, 好似小朋友叫咩名, 本書上面有咩公仔(隨手law起一本問, 好輕鬆既), 不過...我in英普班, 老師100%用普通話問, story time都係普通話, 所有指示都係普通話, 最後小b 驚到喊左出來, 我地同ms冇緣了!
