As I know, this year, no. of applicants for TT's Kindergarten is about 3000!
in the day time, they really have no room is available to arrange interview because Kindergarten and Primary sections are needed to keep normal running.
For TT, every year's interview all at evening and night time. ** may be this year, really so many many applicants, it's no choice to arrange many turns but still start from after school time.
As previous msg from a Mummy said, if you choose TT, you must accept their interview time. It's not a "suddently arrangement"
Then, for the interview delay... I think it is difficult to control the time of each part. For example, if 1 kid cried, his mummy needed to settle down him and return to interview, may be some minutes are over. One group delay some minutes, accumulate to 20 to 30mins to delay for next coming group, right??
Of course, I think most problems of interview arrangement is because of "too many people". You think, 1 kid but may be go to interview with Mummy, Dad, Maid, or add grandfa or grandma..
last night, min. 100 applicants per round + extra 200 family members, it meant min. 300 people at hall or playgroud....
Then, for the content of interview, I think generally, most children's Eng is better then PTH. So, if teacher asked their name by PTH and the kid can answer, good performance, right?
For song time and story time, most of the kids only 2+, why you want the teachers to ask many questions to them?
If the kids can follow the "action" of the song
If the kids can follow to count the number after the story time with the Net teacher, I think it's good already!
may be I have bias (I buy TT)! But I am not saying TT is perfect.
but I have many experience for my both kids about interview for kindergarten and primary school. I don't think it's good to have interview as 1 by 1.

不過學校都好有效率地令整個過程在45MIN至1小時之內完成, 我覺得非常吾簡單.
