點解DBSPD的時間安排可以這麼差?  好彩等1個鐘頭, 唔好彩等3個鐘, 但in人得5分鐘.  大人同小朋友都好慘.  這就是名校給我們家長的下馬威吧.

你等一小時真好彩, 我等了三個小時有多, 但只見五分鐘, 我真的想不通是只見五分鐘, 考小孩的問題還比第一次面試淺, 三位考官除校長外, 其餘兩位有時轉換, 其實等二次面試有什麼作用!!

I am a bit lucky to have the early appointment at 9:00am , therefore , no need to wait for such a long time. The whole process is about 1 hour with waiting time.

Similar procedure with other candidates. Since we were asked to introduce our son in 2-3 sentences, which we really did. Back then, we should talk as much as we could until we heard the 'ting" - time's up.

Just called the school, the resulf will be announced in writing by these two weeks as they still have the interviews today.

You were v lucky to have waited for 1 hr only.
So they started 1 hr later than schedule.  No wonder they went overtime for 3 hrs towards the end of each day.

我比原定的時間等了只是45分鐘，所以也覺得意外。而入到內有三位考官，包括一位小學校長及中學部之校長。他們對孩子之簡介及作品感到十分大興趣，其中一位女士更驚訝地問小兒：全部都是你畫的﹖...畫得很靚呀﹗並且將孩子之profile不斷傳給那位男士看。我覺得他們十分欣賞小兒，故此，我們在整個interview之感覺是十分好的。

wa, you are well prepared. your son stands a high chance for admission then. You still have time to show the art work of your son?  how long did the interview last then.  was it conducted in Cantonese or English?

我們是用中文的，包括孩子。當我們一入內時，那文職人員即叫我們簡介自己的孩子，而當我介紹時，我看見其中一位女士在看我孩子的profile，在profile內已有我小兒之作品，故此，當我提及我孩子之profile內容時，他便即時有此大的反應，在我意料之外。整個過程約5至8分鐘﹖其後我們兩公婆在外等待，而孩子約見了10分鐘，小兒表示滿意，並且覺得d考管很好人。

oh, the one sitting aside is a clearical staff, I thought she is a teacher.  my son says she is the only one who has asked questions.  I cannot see any of the interviewers look at the profile of my son.  maybe they are not interested in him, he may be  the "accompanying runner" only. The whole interview lasts for less than 5 minutes.

How are you ? Are you better ?

在我們的interview過程, 只有用好彩及一家人都表現最好的一面來形容.

1) 面試當日早上, 在差不多要面試時, 我個仔突然嘔. 好彩佢冇弄污衣物, 而嘔後精神反而好些, 不像早上什麼也不說. 可是我們也等了3小時, 由好的狀態到唔好, 又到好, 真是心急死我. 但咁啱佢有個好friend既同學仔在佢interview前半小時到達, 咁返而令佢warm少少.
2) 可能由於佢嘔完有些累, 反而坐定定, 因為大家有冇留意佢地比張轉轉櫈小朋友 ? 後來有朋友話佢個仔一路In, 一路轉, 原來係陷井.
3) 又原來小朋友interview時, 會由唔同人問問題, (I mean other than the 3 interviewers), 隔離果個老師呢, 但我朋友個仔就望住interviewer答, 後來interviewer 叫小朋友要望住向佢發問既老師作答. 又一考驗.
4) 等候既途中, 因為我要比些暖水比我個仔飲, 所以在走廊進進出出, 咁啱幾個interviewers 出來鬆下, 就比我見到佢地係邊個同着乜衫, 所以我可以話到比我老公知, 唔使入到去唔知邊個打邊個. interviewer 都有些surprise 我地識叫佢地.
5) 我個仔雖然唔係好舒服,但佢都識保持笑容, 跟我地遂一同interviwer 打招呼, 完左又識講吾該同bye bye (包括送佢出嚟既老師), interviewer 一路睇佢既profile同作品, 一路同佢打眼色佢都識反應, 仲打趣話要到我家參觀. 但佢一出來就謝左. 依家仲吃緊藥.

所以, 我已同佢講我們一家人都已present得很好, 無論取錄與否, 有佢我已經好驕傲. (点知亞仔話媽咪唔可以驕傲架, 兔仔就係咁就輸左比烏龜啦) 激死 !

因此, 我諗5miniutes既interview 真係吾簡單law.

I think you've gained a high mark for able to recognize the important figures of DBS
Except the headteacher Ms Lo, I recognize none of them, hence we did not call their names when greeting.  Lose mark!

I do hope this can have a little help on increasing the mark.

For the chair, this is only my observation. Maybe this is not like that. I just talk to my friend who is a teacher and she tell me that.

Anyway, we will have result soon.

thank you , i am better now, but still have littlebit pain

well, my friend told me she receive the call yerterday, that her kid have the third interview on 30 Dec  2004

i just call DB today , but the staff said they will call and send the letter next week  ,so now still need to wait

so i don't know why , my friend told me like that ,but the school said they are no more interview

Glad to know that you are feeling better.

Did your friend's son (who received the call for 3rd interview) attend the 2nd interview (around 7-10 Dec) or not ?

Or was it his 2nd interview (i.e they are now calling some "new" candidates for 2nd interview) ?
