(1) Teachers (and headmistress) treat student with "Heart" and "Love" (it's the closed friend relationship rather than teacher-to-student)
(2) Small size school (x14 classes and 15K sqm) and old school (>40 years), only x15 teachers deals with three hundreds and more students. In spite of it, each teacher nearly knows all the students from P1 to P6.
(3) P4 to P6 will take care of P1 to P3, good relationship with different students, full schools students are sisters relationship.
(4) of course, acedemic result is not so outstanding comparing with top school, but you can see the KLN TL girl's character growth-up with full of love, like to take care of younger students.  You can compare the students attitude after school in Kolwoon Tong (just spent two or three days), you can be easy to find the difference of them, more polite, more care of others.
Money can buy many things, but it can't teach your kids to be good character person.

九龍真光中學附屬小學受地方限制，與新建的學校比較，校舍相對很小，圖書館只有一間課室大小，然而「麻雀雖小，五臟俱全」，校舍設備一應俱全。正因為小，學校就像一個家庭，師生相處融洽，同學相親相愛。沒有所謂的精英班，全部同學（由小一至小六）都互相認識，六年級的學姐更會負起照顧小一生的責任。

真光重品格的培養，教師以身教、言教感化學生。女兒就讀六年級的梁太說﹕「我深深體會到這裏『有教無類』、『一個都不能少』，老師不會懲罰破壞者，不會標籤學生，希望讓小朋友學會寬恕和愛人。」學生最重要的是學懂關愛別人和明辨是非。

真光讓學生「人人有工做」，每一個學生都會因應個人能力獲分派固定的職務，如收練習本、派飯、管理圖書館等，難怪他們對學校都有歸屬感，也都學會責任感和平等。

近年香港經濟不景，部分家長未必能負擔學費。真光為學生提供助學金，使貧苦學生也能在該校學習。

真光的另一特色是重健康教育。學校規定學生不准吃零食，校內不設小食部，教師以身作則，不愛汽水愛清水，學生受老師影響，午膳寧要鹽焗雞翼或豉油雞翼，也不要炸雞翼。學校曾舉辦活動，由學生設計健康的飯盒，然後要求供應商提供。

藍太女兒就讀三年級。「學校雖小，但很family（家庭），全部同學都認識，老師很有耐性，很投入地與小朋友玩。女兒很喜歡學校，對學校很有歸屬感。」

梁太女兒就讀六年級。「我們夫婦認識很多真光出身的朋友，他們都有堅毅不屈的精神和正義感，所以決定送女兒到這兒就讀。現在女兒快畢業了，我們覺得並無押錯注碼。」

Sorry, I don't know, but I think it's not easy to "留班", it'll final agree by headmistress who need to consider and balance how many seats reserved for each class of P1 to P6.  Additional cost is required for each student who need to "留班".  So, it is not a common case.

謝謝你的分享, 我很喜歡師生關係親厚及全校師生互相認識這一點, 小學生首重自尊自重, 從role model 中學習待人接物, 學校文化每天影響孩子的人格形成, 校舍外在因素對我來說不重要, 更可教尊孩子做人不要看表面, 但心中依然有一些問題想再請教你, 希望你不介意分亨:

1) 想了解真光平日每星期默書次數及長短? 計入成績表嗎?
2) 有否排名次?
3)有否精英班?
4) 有否樂團, 舞團, 合唱團?
5) 老師了解孩子成長需要嗎? 對家長疑問有耐心嗎了

你好!我都係一位家長係呢兩年我都好留意各位對九龍真光小學既平語, 大多數都係討論學校既外表多於內涵會不會太膚淺呢! 當然有好既設施配合可以令學生既學習環境更加好, 但係老師同校長既教學態度都好重要!

2) 有否排名次? Yes
3)有否精英班? No
4) 有否樂團, 舞團, 合唱團? Yes
5) 老師了解孩子成長需要嗎? 100% absolutely ! 對家長疑問有耐心嗎了 Infinity !
6) 對中學的選擇, 多入哪几間中學呢? KLN TL or TL Girl 從哪里可知道升中分配結果呢? from school 公開嗎? not public
6) 到現在為止, 你覺學校有什么需改善? bigger school, newer decoration, carteen, yearly foreign outing or group foreign visit, sports not good, school bus team too small, school door near road, only one boy toliet, student table too traditional, function room not enough.
