Agreed.

Learning can be fun.  Not saying that you must bring them to training class but unless you have already trained them to read by themselves when they were young, or you have enough time/patient/consistency/skill to teach the kids yourselves, otherwise it is really hard for one to educate your kid well.

Dont give yourselves an excuse saying that because I want my kid to be happy so the best is to let them watch TV, play toys, again not saying we should not let them do these things.....but unfortunately your kids need to learn many more other things/skills, and these other learnings can also be very interesting if you can do it together with your kids.

.....Dont always let your maid to take care of your kids, they are your maids not your tutors....a lot of things can only be taught by the parent.
