Hi ILBC, sorry if I had intruded, but I just want to share. I do have piano training (all the way), my son is now taking Suzuki at Prince Edward. I realize they learn more to play by the ear, and perhaps they are weak at reading notes, but I really appreciate their encouragement, their way of teaching, and the kids have good ears, good listening skills and really appreciate music. It really help boost confidence and self-esteem in a kid. My son has taken their kodaly and now their Suzuki piano course, he can read so fa names at 3 y.o. I think it would be best to start with Suzuki, then when they need more skills, I may consider transfering back to traditional way.原帖由 ILBC 於 10-5-18 02:01 發表
Hi, ohmygosh! As I know you're a professional musician, how do you think of Suzuki method?
My daughter is about 2 and I'd like her to join Tom Lee/Parsons/Yip's. Their prices are reasonable for me. ... |
