agreed, the school is making money ! School life is .....zero, not much updated from the school or class teacher in the past. Eventhough my kids hurt  or bump the head. No one inform me and I have no choice to call to class teacher for more understanding and . what happen...........:(

昨天又唔見另一樣.今日又一單.個書包就得條濕啲啲毛巾,盒就唔知去咗邊!!
今日佢有無咗自己件jacket了???不過人哋個件就係度我......唉.
各家長記得寫清楚小朋友Ｄ名在自己的物件上啦

此宗校政風雲發生於上周五，據悉，當日叢校長與多名教職員正在會議室舉行校務會議，梁欽聖突然進入會議室，表示會即時給一筆錢叢校長，要求她提早退休，叢校長拒絕，梁即時將她解僱，當時列席的教職員均感到愕然，亦覺有人態度無禮，遂即時離場以示不滿，但有人揚言亦即時解僱離場的所有教職員。

囡囡姨媽移民三藩市三十幾年,兩公婆都係會計師,我們幾姊妹感情好好,成日skype講「揍仔經」,咁 "arm " 講起ＢＢ嘅幼稚園,問佢新校長那所「美國加州屋崙國際學校」「美美兒童中心」好唔好,出唔出名?家姐話未聽過,可以幫我查吓.

家姐今日報料話屋崙是灣區入面治安最差嘅,亦是最差的校區,基本上所有差嘅學校都在那裏,會計行業說間學校當年是虧蝕太大而結束.至於另一間美美兒童中心,在屋崙唐人埠,細細間,家姐形容「up up 突突」學生越來越少,賺唔到錢又無蝕啦!送咗俾社區接管.我問教學質素,不過會計只係講「盤數」,其他就唔知啦!  
經此一查,我老公話星期一早上經過學校,去睇睇

I would like to ask other parents what your understanding of the "profit-making" status of SJC. When I decided to send my kid to SJC, I liked the idea that SJC was a "non-profit making" school.  I still believe it is "non-profit making" school.  Is my understanding correct?

If so, will the new principal keep the school as "non-profit making"?

我當初為我的小朋友選擇這間學校, 絕對因為佢師生比例小(因為1班的小朋友人數少, 即使仍然1:15, 但其他學校多數30人1班, 就算2:30, 比例上一樣, 但1班多人, 自然秩序都難管理), 自問交咁多學費, 都係為求小朋友可以得到老師的關顧, 開心上學. 另外, 佢英語環境確係好好, 比好多學校所講的"國際班", 掛羊頭(有native, 原來只得1半時間), 賣狗肉(1班2個老師, 除英文native駐課室1半時間, 另1個原來係廣東話...英語水平係教院程度, 小朋友對佢既時間好多, 所以唔多用英語交談...而普通話老師就係幾個class share 1個, 咁即係雙班主任唔係真正1個eng native, 1個ptw native)
我欣賞st johannes 係佢係英文kinder 就係英文kinder, 我要求係英文, 佢有就得喇, 所以我最擔心唔再係換唔換老師所帶嚟既衝擊, 因為都發生了, 只係想知佢再請返嚟既, 英語水平如何.
另外, 我自問覺得好多間私立kinder都係profit-making, 佢唔make profit又點可以請人or maintain certain quality去教小朋友? 都預jor, 佢make幾多profit唔係我哋去理, 但求...我哋小朋友學得開心, 家長亦有權選擇同衡量"值唔值咁多錢去買呢個educational service", 係我覺得...佢係ok既...因為我小朋友都讀過其他kinder既國際n班, 學費同st johannes 不相伯仲, 但唔好講老師呀...ee呀..呢d軟件, 只講campus size, 茶點, 搞function, party...佢哋確係對小朋友好好, 好多種類食物, 派親返嚟既party gift都好靚同實用(例如x mas party個gift bag係1 set 有brand name既play-doug, 玩得安全唔怕toxic), 呢d雖然係家長既錢(tuition fee etc...)但佢哋都叫有d野做出嚟唔係袋袋平安. 以前我小朋友間學校"國際n1班半日", 3800 一個月, birthday party連蛋糕都無得食, tea永遠只得餅同bread + 水 or juice, x mas人人比$120去join, 竟然係咩小玩具or party 帽呀..ball ball呀...都無,又無咩野食.

或者我唔好彩, 以前間學校好差, 所以覺得st johannes 算好ok, 但不能否認係, 佢地tum小朋友確係有1手, 搞function 夾埋小學, 真係搞得出個氣氛, 呢d係小朋友能感受到, 試問有幾多間kinder搞得出咁多大functions? 我作為家長, 唔介意要捐, 要比錢, 因為小朋友係最終有得著, 係開心既...就得喇.

上week, 我小朋友確係有唔開心, 第1次講唔想返學..因為無老師..好心痛, 但都要時間架...佢哋要去請人. 不過上week尾好少少..因為佢哋有稱讚我小朋友, 話做assessment好快又靚, tum佢...佢又返d喇...話老師好錫佢...

今朝都仲係ee哦哦話唔想返, 話怕無老師照顧佢喎, 我有tum佢話1定有, 只係上week assessment 唔洗教書先係咁. 我地做家長只可以安撫小朋友. 到剛才, 放學返嚟,,..有2個貼紙喎~~係老師同校姐ee送比佢, 佢鬼咁happy, 又話鍾意返st johannes喇~

所以我好希望老師最基本係呢個stage, 可以tum到小朋友開心返學先啦! 然後我地做家長既~再促請學校交待下佢哋請了d咩老師, 最好有個seminar, show 1 show老師d樣, 講下野, 比我哋聽聽老師d英文如何....都會安心好多.

Sigh, really agree and same feel as you. Because if change school now, is a big change. Need to re-arrange everything again. When I think that feel headache la.
My elder daughter studied here before and feel happy, and her english much much better than chinese tim. Hope they can keep their teaching standard. Why I sent 2nd kid to this school because I trust their teaching style and standard.
Really hope it have any parent meeting ASAP.
We just pray for it.
I hope it can finish soon.

根據勞x處正確消息透露，現任梁xx校董公司拖欠多名員工薪金一年有多，另外，現時新任校長x太，其兒子公司亦欠員工薪金一年有多，此等無良顧主，有資格從事教育工作嗎？如有懷疑，可向勞x處查詢，現在我正擔心，就算呢兩年學校可以正常運作，嗰時我大仔五六年級，細女又K3，咁咪仲難轉校。（如有懷疑，可向勞x處證實）

我兩位小朋友轉校就必然，作為一位家長，都係想提醒大家，要為自己小朋友將來打算。

I called the new principal yesterday, she told me the group meeting will be held at end of Jan or beginning of Feb.  I am looking for....

I am sure all you guys receive the notice for the 2nd term usage fee.  The deadline is Fri., 29 Jan..  I hope the teacher-parent meeting can and will be held before that deadline.  Under such uncertain circumstances, as a SJC parent, I am very reluctant to pay the money now.
