Hi Parisienne,

我阿囡系讀公文式架,因為果陣時佢坐唔定,好唔中意做d重複既野,所以我比佢去做下,訓練下佢.最初幾個月都好慘架,因為重複甘做題目丫嘛,但後來習慣左,依家訓練到專注力,一定要坐定定10分鐘完成功課,日日如是.依家做功課好主動,而且效率好高,所以我好有信心俾佢讀傳統小學.

不過有d人會選擇學enopi,珠心算,kwik math等,各有不同,你自己研究下邊樣最適合你小朋友啦.

I think york is very confusing administration wise... and after we rejected york's offer, then comes the international class episode where parents said they have been guaranteed a place without interview, but now york won't be able to do it etc.... so we were very glad that we didn't have to go through that :)

So I think we have made the right decision in choosing creative primary school kindergarten.

And yes, i agree that creative primary school fees are quite expensive.  But there is no guarantee that york graduates can get into those band 1 primary schools, so it depends on luck on the 'lucky draw'.  

Also, I feel that it's more important for my little boy to be interested in learning and good with communication as i believe these are far more important than doing a stack of homework or passing some cambridge tests as kindergarten kids.  This is my opinion only :)

有冇人已經買了開學用品和校服?  如果而家買校服, 又怕佢地大得快9月唔啱著.  但太遲買(8月尾), 會唔會冇貨?

仲要買啲乜?  要唔要買茶點盒和毛巾盒?

茶點費系每個月收架,d野食都ok架,所以唔使帶茶點盒. 毛巾盒要自備.

如果小朋友自理能力不太好, 如未能打開毛巾盒或食太大件的食物, 老師會怎樣幫忙? (平時在家中習慣了把食物剪細)...

佢地好似食蛋糕麵包多d,種類都算比較多,我個女平時好挑剔,但系學校都願意試下d屋企未食過既野,我開學第一日試過少少,味道都OK架,我覺得好過自己每日絞盡腦汁帶咩茶點,哈哈.

照顧方面,學校老師會教佢,你唔使考慮甘多喇,小朋友長大左喇,都需要慢慢學習點樣獨立照顧自己.CPSK D老師好有愛心,好尊重小朋友個別差異,唔使擔心.

大仔上年K1讀得好開心,成日話老師好好.
番學帶水杯(有蓋衛生d)同毛巾盒就得.
食物: 蛋糕,包包; 飲料:水.
ps: 細仔9月加入CPSK,讀K1

Thanks a lot!!! 不過我個仔啲自理能力真係幾差..., 仲未完全戒片, 你提佢去廁所佢可能會去, 冇人提佢呢, 佢就會就地解決, 唔會主動同你講.  我諗都冇乜人會K.1 仲帶片返學....., 真係唔擔心都唔得....

上年大仔k1開學時都有同學仔係未戒片呀.
呢個暑假努力戒啦,就算未戒晒,有意識出聲話去洗手間都好吖.
每個小朋友進度有別,唔好介意.最重要係同老師講清楚佢情況,老師會配合.

hi, i'm new to bk forum.  my kid has just gone to k1 for the last few days.  is there anybody whose kid is in pm class?  i'd like to know more about the school and other schoolmates.  i hope my kid can adapt more easily.

Hi mugisan,

My son is not in the same class, he's in K1A3 (a.m.).  Today is the first day that he went to school bus by himself and had the 3-hour class.  I think it's a little bit tough for K1 students that it's the first day to school without parents and 3-hours is a very long time for them.  

My son dropped a little bit tears when he went up to the school bus by himself but didn't cry out loud.  So I was a bit worried that he may cry poorly at school for the 3 hours.  I called the school and asked the class teacher to call me back after school.  I feel so relieved that the teacher said he didn't cry at all in the school.  Hope he can keep it up!

How about your kids?  I hope everyone will settle nicely in the school!

nice to hear from u.  i also feel a lot better when i've got the call from my kid's class teacher.  my kid cried loudly right after getting a seat on the school bus coz he found i didn't get on the bus w/ him.  

i felt very worried too.  but surprisingly my kid kept silent after getting off the bus.  maybe he was tired after 3 hour lessons.  then his class teacher called to tell he cried for about 15 minutes at school and then kept calm for the rest of the time.

his class teacher and subject teacher of k1a2pm are really nice.  they put so much effort to comfort their students.

wish yr kid good health and good progress throughout the year.

My son only dropped tears the first day going to school bus yesterday.  But today he started crying loud at home and refused to go to school.  Had to carry him all the way to school bus and he was still crying when he got on to the school bus

So I was worried again although the teacher said he didn't cry at school yesterday...., and I had to call the school again today!!!

Lucky that the class teacher said he didn't cry at all when he arrived school...., I hope I don't have to call the school again tomorrow .

hi, it's worrying that my kid also felt worse than yesterday.  may be he knows now lessons are long and the way between home and school is long too.  it takes about one hour to school and another hour back to home by school bus.  but the actua driving time by taxi is just 20 mins.  how long does it take from your home to school?

will u go to parents' day this sat?  may be we can meet in the school hall.  by the way, wish yr september kid happy birthday and happy always!!

Hi Mugisan,

Today is the third day to school.  Same here, my son felt worse day by day as he cried louder and louder before he left home, all the way to school bus, I agree that they now know they have to be in school for long time.  However, the class teacher said he didn't cry at all when he arrived school in the past 2 days, and he was happy when he returned home, with no swollen eyes, so I hope he can get better soon!

It only takes less than 10 minutes to and from school on school bus.  An hour for you is really a very long time, can you try other 保母車?

I may not go to the parents talk this Saturday, my husband should be going.  But maybe we can meet in the future events.

I won't call the school again today lu..., 係時候放吓手, 讓他慢慢成長.  我們應該比多啲信心他們的.
