I have a number of friends' kids studying in braemar hill. My opinion is unless you are super rich and you enjoy that type of network, else you and your kid will not enjoy the school life.
For example, one of my friend spent $100K to organise a birthday party for her 3 yr old son at Disneyland. I don't think i want to organise a $100k party even I have the money. But she said all the classmates are like this. Once I heard that she is going to attend the birthday party of her son's classmate and she has to buy a LV hair clip for the classmate. This is too ridiculous. However, many rich people enjoy this type of life.
My home is 3 mins from braemer hill. I always see drivers driving the kids home even they are just staying opposite to the school. I applied just because it's near to my home and as a reserve in case no kindergarten accepts my son.
Their application fee is most expensive also, $100. They won't tell you if there will be interview. They said they will contact you if they think you need an interview. Meaning I just pay them a $100.

Why you won't pick Breamar Hill Nursary? It seems there are very few info on this school.
Thanks for your sharing. I also have heard that students there are from super rich family but never thought that it is so terrible (LV hair clip for a little girl???!!). My baby is actually a 0901 baby and I have just submitted an application form to braemar hill. If this school is like what you said, I think that my boy and I will not be able to fit into the culture. aii....actually, I just want to find a school that my boy will enjoy school life but at the same time can get into good primary school. I start to hate the HK education system. It makes our life miserable.
I am planning to put my boy in Woodland playgroup when he is 18 months. But I'll only let him studying in this school for 1 year as I want him to continue the education in local school. Do you and your boy like Woodland?

Woodland actually has playgroup called Wigglers for babies younger than 18 months before they join the playgroup. My son is attending the wigglers there now. I think depends which campus you are going to. My son is attending the Happy Valley campus. It is very small and old. After attending one session, I don't really like it. Too many babies in one session, there were 8 babies and when the teacher marking the attendance, there were at least another 3-4 names there who were absent from the class. That means if everyone attends, there will be 12 babies in a classroom. The facilities and toys are also so old that my son not really interested. Their fee is very expensive too, you have to pay $1000 for registration, $1000 for deposit and pay all the tuition fee for one term (4 months) at once.
Their playgroup also follows the school terms, e.g. Dec they will have 2 weeks school holiday, you will only be able to join 3 playgroups (assume you are joining once a week) but you are paying one month's fee.
I end up paying $3750 for just 6 classes for Nov and Dec since I joined in mid Nov. I will only let my son stay in Woodland until Jan. (you have to give written notice one month in advance if you want to quit, else they won't give you back your deposit).
I found another playgroup in happy valley which I found very good and my son enjoys so i will quit woodland.

I am going to send my boy to Mid-Levels Woodland. I pick this school because I live close to this campus. It seems no good to send him to a far away place for just 1.5 hour class.

My boy is accepted by Lingnan, Rosaryhill, Creative. And I am waiting for KCS, Wai Lei Tong and Hop 1 Tong results. I have given up Lingnan as it is too far away and am still considering if I should go for Rosaryhill. My priority is KCS or Victoria but I do not think the results will be out before 4 Dec. Probably need to pay Rosaryhill first.
