陳守仁面試考什麼 ?

It should be the same questionaire like last year asking about what other schools you applied, etc.   I did not fill in the applicant name and number and now my kid is a P1 student there.

我都同意d 題目係好general, 但對改善學校質素真的沒有幫助.

其實d 題目係好general 乍，我朋友既細路以前係 in 另外既學校，都係問呢d 問題，仲要係深入d，仲要話明學校係睇既。

其實有成3000人申請，兩天面試日真的太短，真不明白學校為何不多花少少時間面試，等學校對每一個小朋友都認識多一點﹖

my wife went with our son and gave me a different version.
she was very impressed by the organization. the teachers were kind. the instruction was really clear.
however, our son doesn't want to tell us what has he done at all.....
just know that he has made a drawing.... no idea if he has well understood everything....

I agree with your wife that the whole process was very well organised.  Just that the interview itself was extremely short.  My son's group had 7 children and the interview lasted for only 20 minutes.  They really wouldn't have spent much time one on one.

囝囝今天面試完, 一出來即刻同我講, 都冇乜野問喎, 只是叫每位小朋友填顏色, 圖畫是一隻鳥, 另外又要他們裝飾幅圖畫, 跟住就叫佢地讀英文字和中文字共三張咭, 真懷疑學校在這短短的15分鐘interview, 他們用什麼準則去挑選學生? 其實如果入選到真是好講學生的彩數和老師對他們的眼緣了...good luck to all your child

我個囡一出嚟就食緊粒糖,我問佢老師問d咩呀,佢話唔記得....之後話用英文問,冇用中文問,又話填顏色,又話有圖咭,講得唔清楚咁...睇嚟都係冇咩機會.

my son also said they need to do coloring ( a car ), it was printed on a piece of paper already, everyone got the same piece, just color it as you like, but b4 coloring, they had listened to a story which was related to the picture they color (it was a story about racing cars), then everyone need to read 3 sentences to the teacher, every page has 2 sentences, Eng sentences on top and Chi sentences at the bottom, pictures in the middle, and those sentences were related to the story they listened.  After that, they could pick up one candy they like from the little box, and he was so happy about it.  Their group took about 30 mins for interview.

agree with u too! Frankly, the procedure of Camoes was much better than DBSPD. At least parents didn't have to queue under the sun for waiting our kids.

無錯呀...同亞囡講既一樣呀....不過亞囡仲話要佢count有幾多輛車喎....跟住有幾幅圖要佢跟番之前聽的錄音帶黎排番個故事次序....

好搞笑.. 我囝囝話.. 佢果組有8個人, 一入去就填色, 老師叫佢地填purple 同 black, 佢話有小朋友拎左黃色, 噤我問佢, 係米唔夠紫色同黑色呀? 佢話有架, d小朋友唔拎g馬.  then colour左一隻bird.  跟住就聽pc 既故事, 老師就問佢地問題, 問咩broken左, 指出黎, 佢答完第一條就唔洗再答, 有需要既小朋友先答第2條同第3條.. (我心諗, 緊係答錯已經out左唔洗再問, 好似百萬富翁game噤)..but then佢又話d小朋友答錯, 老師會再問... 佢吹水唔"沒"咀, 都唔知真定假.  跟住要講故事, 佢話好彩有card, 又話得佢一個小朋友講, 其他小朋友冇講, but我問佢講咩, 佢話 "I forget that".. 真係比佢笑c...

oh, yes, sorry that I also forgot something, he also said teacher gave them 4 cards to re-arrange the correct order of the story.

其實佢唔收portfolio果刻已經知道, 呢間學校只睇臨場表現。但佢面試既時候都係輕鬆既環境下完成。反之有d學校in成個鐘, 中英數常識問哂先有得走, 小朋友更有壓力。就算小朋友有幾叻, 學校都唔能夠offer時間比佢地做"天才表演"黎凸顯小朋友既長處。
加上, 呢間學校收生最重要我估都係英文聽講理解能力。其他可能已經唔太重要。所以20分鐘左右就已經足夠啦。

i do think one to one interview is more stressful for children and it will affect their performance. many shy kids will not say a word when interview face to face with the interviewer, but by no mean that the child doesn't know the answer.
i think with 3000 applicants, all the school has to do is really "考天材", pick the sharpest part of the 1st patch and refine the selection in the 2nd interview.
to be honest, i know that my kid may not be the sharpest amount the 3000 kids... so we are ready to go for the 2nd round!
