I don't know why most people are in the afternoon but for some schools, if they have kids'activities (eg. music class) on Saturday mornings, interviews will only be arranged in the afternoon.

My fiiend's chirlden was passed an interview by York, but she wants to know how many charges she should pay every months??  Will the cost be HK$3000 to HK$4000 per month?

Still haven't got the letter for interview details.  But I have got Kentville's reply.  It clashed exactly with St. Catherine's!  I have called Kentville just now and they said they would not change the interview date nor time.  :cry:

Regarding 金巴倫interview, I have not yet received any letter.  Let's wait, coz my son & your son is small boy.

I have checked York in before, the charges as follows :-
School fee : HKD2350 per month
Tea : HKD300 per month around
Misc. : HKD800-HKD1,000 for each term
School Bus : Its depend on where are you go and out.  Around HKD700 - HKD900 per month.

All charges will be adjusted in next year said by York.

Anyway I have just called St. Nicholas.  They say young kids would get a reply in 2 weeks.  :

They have 2 terms in St. Nicholas for each year.  Because my supervisor's daughter and son have studied in this school as before.

Did you call St. Catherine to change the time?  I think both are good kind.  If they can't change the time, you need to make a decision.  But anyway, you need to try to change the time first.  The time is too close, only 30mins can't do any interview.  You need to wait for and or may be listen any talk before the interview.

Both schools said they would not change the time.  I cannot choose from the 2.  We will just go for both and see how things go.

上年我囡囡都有考st. catherine, 雖然你的時間係11:15 am, 唔緊要ga, 你早d去, 一入到門口, d人就會叫你向前行, (記住唔好同佢地講你早到), 當自己係等interview 11:00 a.m.,  一路排隊入到去課室, d老師就會跟你的編號找出你小朋友的申請表, 再去其它課室interview, 整個過程都好快, 不過時間我唔記得啦, 可能都會趕得及去 kentville.  至於係咪真係咁順利, 真係唔肯定答覆你, 以上只是我的經歷  (因我亦聽過有d媽咪等好耐)

其實如果你怕冒險, 你就要二選其一, 因為兩間學校都係唔同性質, 你心目中想你小朋友的英語-oral 方面好d, 還要其它...

That's exactly what I am planning to do.  We plan to arrive around 10:45am and then hubby will go to Kentville and fill out the forms and wait for us.  I have asked my sister in law to give us a ride that day.  Hope things would work out smoothly.

I still cannot decide which way I want our son to go for.  I am not too concerned about English oral coz I can do that for him.  Having said that I don't necessarily mean I want him to stick to the traditional heavy homework load of style.  My mindset is if either one accepts him that would be fine.

If you go for both, you need to on time otherwise, you will effect your kid.  Maybe you and your husband are divided into 2 group for waiting then contact for each other by mobile.

Kentville, SC, York , St. Nicolas...
Do you know how's the enviroment in SN?
I think York's one is not too good, coz on the interview day, some of the toys are damaged, and also I saw 2 kids play滑梯, 因衝力或滑梯底離地面較高,所以整個人'sir'到頭部也著地呢! :-|

i phoned SC before and asked the staff for changing the interview time. i explained my reason and the staff told me to write a letter and enclosed the application form to send back to SC. I did it and sent on 7OCT, but i still have no reply.i think i'll wait until 1NOV, if there is still no reply and I'll phone SC again.

What is your reason for changing the interview time?

Do you have a clash with some other interviews?
