我今日收到,下午班,不過之前又一村已收了仔仔,現正考慮是否去,因這學校的評語真是很兩極,
我仔仔看起來是個很靜的孩子,可能讀約克是個好選擇,

Really appreciated your comments!  It's not small but very thorough.

I totally agree with your view about Pooi To, and that's the reason why I have applied in the first place.  I am aware they are one of the traditional Chinese secondary school which should be considered differently.

I guess I will still pay the deposit first to be safe.  Just got the acceptance letter from KV so my wife is very happy.  However, I still have SPK and Heep Yunn which won't know the result for a very long time, so I guess I just need to keep my options open for now.

Let's keep in touch, and I am happy to know your son will be going to York.  I like it a lot but I guess I need to accept reality that my preference will go to some schools with connection to primary school.  I can't trust the lottery system!!!  And hate it very much!

我與丈夫商量後, 決定放棄培道。York應該會係首選。(但始終都係睇下仔仔讀 prep. class的反應如何)而暫時次選則為銅鑼灣靈糧堂。(因為仍有兩間未去面試)

我覺得若女孩子讀培道亦會適合, 雖則升上中學後是一所中文中 ...

I am sure you must be exhuasted already.  You son must have interviewed for almost 10 kindergartens.  I am feeling the same too, even though I have only went through half of the distance as you do.  It really need a lot of energy and I am afraid I cannot do this again for the primary school application 3 years later......  really started to get scare of it.  

I am sorry to know that your son is not accepted by KV, but I am sure between the two you will prefer York over KV anyway so it shouldn't be a lost to you.  Concerning Munsang, I guess you may wanna consider it as it provides a good safety net to take your son all the way through.  Congratulation of being accepted by them!

Anyway, I believe any decision you and your husband made for your son will be the best of him!  Good luck to you all!

I feel very sorry to hear that.  Indeed it's a lost to KV that they didn't give acceptance to him right-a-way.  Is he on waiting list?  Because I am quite sure applicants on waiting list should still have a good chance of getting into KV.

For instance, even though my original plan is to let my daughter attend KV and she is being accepted fortunately.  However, I am not having second thought and would wait to make the decision until she attends some more interviews with the kindergartens with primary school.

This whole process is very difficult, I have to say.  How many children you have actually?  My situation is more complicated as I have two daughters so making it an easier way for the second one will also need to be considered.

Best of luck to your son and let's keep in touch so we can keep up-to-date with the development of the kids!

上個星期六面試, 一星期己知結果了, 不過冇話上午or下午班wor! 想知校車費幾$? 冇学卷+雜費, 我唸都貴. any ideas?

Cos I also heard most of mami says York will not reject kids once they attended their interview and it is very easy to get into York wor???.....
