我冇聽聞有人考拔萃, 考德雅打底有很多. 聖芳濟各都有.
個女話同學之間都冇乜提入什麽小學, 因為老師都唔提及的.
係最近寫紀念冊先有人講小學.

可能一心考拔萃嗰Ｄ老早就轉CCKG呢!  我都有兩個朋友嘅仔入咗, CCKG上.  但係真係好努力參加活動- 游水. 彈琴. 西人會話. 奥數. 美國夏令營....六.日是排滿晒, 賓賓同媽咪都很勞碌.  

至於面試問誰一齊嚟, 個女In幼稚園時已試過有學校問啦.  有朋友教路, 千祈唔好提賓賓, 要說父母請假陪面試, 當然話媽咪全職照顧就更好.

K3 下學期才有默書, 很容易的.  但係就是太容易所以.....
協和係好學校,又有銘賢backup. 不過所有好學校都好難入呢.

I agree with you.  And I also live in kwun tong.

I have a friend living in kwun tong, her girls were studing in kwun tong 浸信會, she's cathlic but didn't change the address.  Her elder girl was accepted by Maryknoll in the 1st round so her 2nd daughter will go to Maryknoll also.  It's like she won mark six, she's so lucky.

This is a very exceptional case but I realy admire her.

我囡囡今年九月才升K3,要選校,我當然想原校升讀,這個亦是我當初選St. Rose Kinder的原因,另外,St. Rose Kinder的程度很淺,我驚囡囡升讀其他小學會很辛苦.

我接觸過的St. Rose Kinder老師都好好人,有問必答,我試過找校長林修女問升學資料,她都有答我.

If I am not wrong, your daughter will enter St. Rose’s P.1 in this year Sept, I hope is not late for me to join this discussion forum, I just noticed this web site in this morning.

My daughter will go to St. Rose's p.1 for this year Sept as well, I believe you have already received the letter from the primary school regarding the parents day on July 10.  Currently, my daughter is study in St Rose's k3, she got 20 marks and able to enter to St. Rose's primary school in the first round (last year Nov).

chu88chu88, you must be very smart and closed with the teacher, you can able to get the number of the student who enter the St. Rost's primary school from the kindergarten.  At the beginning, I though some student who carried 15 marks only have chance to enter St. Rose, because I learned from my friend that live in HK side, some students have 15 marks only, they also can enter to 瑪利曼, I also learned this from the HK Education City's discussion forum that some student carried 15 marks can also enter to St. Mary, so I was very surprised that no student who get 15 marks can enter to St. Rose.  But how about the student who get 20 marks, do they need to draw, I know there is no point to discuss this issue now, just curiosity.  My daughter's classmate who takes the school bus with her and can carried 15 marks also cannot enter to St. Rose; most of them already enrolled to the private school.  Any they are expecting the interview with the headmistress of the priminary school in next Sat.  One of the student use relative's address to enroll to St. Rose in the 2nd round as the 1st choice, and she got it.

My daughter is study in 3L class, how about yours, let's keep in touch.

To the rest of the parent, I fully understood your feeling and concern regarding the issue of “points”.  I am glad to share my experience with you which I learned from the kindergarten's headmistress in last year Sept, during the seminar of the open day, regarding the issue of  “points”, I remembered that the headmistress said it really depends on situation, in the year of 2002, (i.e. those student who is P.1 in last year Sept), even the student who carried 20 points, they have to draw, and some student from the kindergarten also cannot enter, because it should be fair to every one.  For the year of 2001, (i.e. those student who is P.2 in last year Sept), some student who carried 15 points have chance to draw, that means after deducted the number of student who carried 20 points, still have vacancy for the student carried 15 points to draw.  In last year, a student who can enter to St. Rose after interview with the headmistress in July, she was took the school bus with my daughter for two years.

I know this is a bit longer message, thank you for your patient to read it.

我個女讀k.3h,佢是大女只有15分,佢唔番st.rose但是就派到家附近一間不錯的學校,所以我都唔知入唔到st.rose是好彩定唔好彩.

上星期的畢業禮,我睇到好感動,可能我眼淺,睇到個女上台時真的流眼淚.覺得個小bb咁快就畢業,眨下眼就六年.

星期六謝師宴您地去唔去 ? 到時可以再傾下計.

My younger girl will go to K1 PM section because her sister as a K3 student will be in afternoon section.  How about your girl?  Will she in the AM or PM section?

Since I have 2 girls, that's why I have been struggled so long about which school I should choose.  Maryknoll has better environment and reputation than St. Rose, and my girl has 20 marks.  It seems that she will have chance to go to Maryknoll, but what if she fail?!  I don't really think that I should take the risk, that's why I think St. Rose should be the right choice unless I heard any bad comments from parents regarding St. Rose.

Moreover, the school is not the best but it is quite a good school.  Remember that even the best school can't guarantee the standard of their student.  It is really very base on the quality of the student and the cooperation of parents in the study stage.  I don't really think too much on the English standard as a big issue because this is not the ONLY reason we should choose a school.  If you visit the school primary section website, you will see that the school is very aggressive in their next 5 years plan.  To match with the school plan, I suggest that parents should start giving your girls more chances to learn and speak 普通話 as St. Rose will use 普通話 as the media for teaching Chinese Language instead of just one special 普通話subject to teach the girls.  I think this will be more difficult for the girls in the beginning.  So, please be prepared on this.

Yes, it is a question I posted in the other website.  As I said, I really struggled very much on which school I should choose : St. Mary, Maryknoll or St. Rose.  So, I visited several websites to search for information regarding these 3 schools.  It is lucky that I got a very good feedback.  English is not really that big concern to me.  If this is the issue, I think Maryknoll should be the choice. I really think that how to teach the girls to be a GOOD GIRL is more important.

I forgot the application time and method of K1.

My pass experience is :

When my girl reach 1 year old, I send a letter and attached her BC and  self-address stamped envelope to the school and ask for the application form .

The school will then send to me.

Does  the school still use this method?

我妹妹個女讀k2,佢話佢都有份去睇畢業禮,好感動喎,不過佢去的原因係想搜集資料,睇下有冇人15分升上聖羅撒小學,結果係問唔到一個係15分成功既.亦問唔到有一個叩門成功既,好失望咁話我知15分死梗,我就勸佢報D冇宗教既學校試下,咁機會會大D嗎?定係博一博聖羅撒小學呢?70幾個位,15分係咪冇機會抽呢?
