It seems your definition of 有教無類 is different..what we mean LS, St. Jo, they accept students without interview, without selection....they still accept them...and the outcome whether those students can catch up or not, it is not 100% school's responsibility.

All students are offered a chance to study and enjoy the excellent environment of LSPS, I would consider that 有教無類. I am sure even that 20% could benefit from what they have learned in LS and they should have been equipped to face the challenge elsewhere.
80% is, IMO, more than the majority of any population. Unlike the famous DSS schools who can choose their own students whose parents are able to afford investing big bucks on their kids. I think 80% is really a decent and impressive figure already.
