I am just a P1 parent, I already find the difficulties that some of your are encountering. I find the Chinese characters used in General Studies are really too difficult for P1 students. Are they supposed to know how to write every word? Do I have to ask them to dictate every vocab in the General studies (Chinese) textbook? I think that the main focus of the primary school syllablus is to train the kids to lay a foundation on languages and to learn the vocabruaries. The contents are not that difficult. anybody agree with me?
