Actually, there is not too much pressure in P.1 to 3 if compared to P.4 to 6. Pressure increases a lot in upper primary years as the kids need to strike to enter good secondary schools, because our govt divided the schools by banding. Students are labelled just like the food we buy in the market. New DSS also ask kids to take public exams at P.5 to F.3 to "demonstrate" their qualities. A P.6 students have to take 3 to 4 internal exams, P.6 govt assessment, F.1 banding test, Cambridge English, secondary schools' interviews and tests etc. in one year, particularly in the last few months before graduation...
