My boy knows Woody! His name is Aidan (希佑) Welcome!!     They are in the same class, but different group.


Regarding the "good kid card", I don't think there is any specific dates for changing gifts lah! Otherwise, they should put "expiry date" on the card!

I totally agree on what you say about the mistress.  She is really pointing out the "special part" of my boy...... TALKATIVE!

My boy never stop talking or making sounds when he is awake!

Hi all mami,
     The worst subject for the result is singing and "rythm motion" in the report. The teacher said he is the shame boy so he not like to do the action and sing . I can image he just open the mouth at that time. By the way, he don't shame any more at home. He also same as Leungi mami son. (non-stop). Sometimes, I want to call he stop in my heart . All, have you found the kid is more difficult to do the homework after the holiday? Do you know how to classified the grade of each subject ?
Which subjects of the highest marks for B+ ?

Actually, my hobby went to take the report instead of me. He told me that the teacher talked very little, he only asked a few questions then end....?
I only know that there will be a parent meeting around Sept-Oct time, when our boys go to K3, to talk about the primary school selection.

  This's very strange.  Have you got 10 cards already?  If there are 10 cards, the teacher will exchange them by a gift ga wow.  So calculate again and try again !

Thank you all for the regards.  My son back to school today lah.

Our teacher told me during the interview that my son's weakness is 心急.  So sometimes he started to do things before teachers gave all instructions.  The results are sometimes do the wrong things law       This is tally to my observation at home.

There will be briefing session on primary school application ??  Very good wow coz until now I can't understand the whole process and the very complicated "point system" very well.

A briefing? That's good! I don't know the current system very well neither, although I have already encountered twice (my elder girls)
Anyway, SJ Primary will be our FIRST choice, right?  I don't live in Wanchai area.  Hope he will be accepted.  Otherwise.... HEADACHE! HEADACHE!

My boy told me yesterday that they have changed groups now.  Before he was in group B1, now in group C.

Firstly, thanks very much on behalf of my sister!

For me, my sister, my mom and my daughter are all OK with that.  The main problem is "天上雷公，地下舅公"mah!!

I don't really know my sister's friends well, and you know, generation gap!!

Hi All,
For writing, i am training my son to draw different kind of lines.  Before, his writing is worse of worse. I read a book saying that drawing is a very good training for the brain and eyes.  There are some interesting exercise books in some book stores.  I asked my son to do the exercises everyday and there is improvement of his writing.  I bought those exercises from the book store in the Central Library in Causeway Bay.  For cost saving, i copied several copies of each exercise and he can repeatedly practise.
Woody brings the new story book home today for the reading programme. In the reading report, there are questions about the story.  Do you know if we are suppose to ask our kids and write down the answer for them or they have to do it by themselves ne?

   I think that the parent read together with the kid and then ask the question to kid in the book . Finally, we should write down by us.
   Have anybody tell which 4 subjects is the higest grade---B+? On the interview day, I jusst listen teacher said 4 subjects highest grade is B + but I forget which 4?  I just remember --story .

Teacher didn't mention the 4 subjects to me woor!? Did the teacher tell you the "ming chi" of your son in the class arr?

小兒就讀的也是傳統學校,K1已經開始寫字,K2及K3要每星期默書(因小女讀緊,所以知道),另該校亦有formal assement,一年兩次.壓力亦不輕.但該校有很多興趣班,我就不用到處找.
而St. Joseph 就沒有,咁...請問妳的小朋友其餘的興趣班在那裡學呢?

Should be the non-academic subjects, eg. story-telling, music movement, etc.

Then your son's present school is similar to St. Jo.  Why you want to change it ?  

I arrange my son's ECA near home (but not many coz he only wants to go to those he has interests)

I didn't hear the teacher saying which 4 subjects as well.  

For the story book my boy took back yesterday was "小魚仙".  But the content is similiar but the ending is different from the one we heard before.(May be they need to shorten it)  And it was too short for my boy to think of who he like most,  what she did and why he likes.  (That means I have to create by myself)
