YLMom:  Your kid is so smart and lucky to get many offers.  You mentioned it is mainly due to her kindergarten's well preparation.  May I know which kindergarten she is attending?  Thanks.

Thanks.  In fact many girls got DGJS 2nd in. here  also got several offers.  So my girl is not that special.  She is lucky, and her school is very good.  She is from HKPS (KlnTong).

Most important, we have to thank God for her luck.  :loveliness:

I guess perhaps because many schools this year asked quite a lot of academic questions.  So those kids strong in academic got the advantage in these schools.  (The questions asked by CKY 1st in. were quite academic, although it emphasizes on interactive education.  I am quite surprised actually.)

Agree! And it's a matter of luck, the academic interview
Really masked the 細仔細女effect. As long as the kid could perform well, no matter the age, they could get a chance. That's fair.

If test academic, I guess my daughter cant pass thru , becoz her academic result is not that good, especially chinese

As I trust my girl is 讀書型, I tend to pick SFA although last year, many friends chose KTS instead, cos of the hamory environment and the teacher-parent connection.

This year, my eldest daughter did not get DGJS second interview but got Heep Yunn in the fiorst round w/ 20 pts - very fortunate as I was told the chance was like 3%.... As I was old boy of DBS and APSKT, I hope my children can go to elite schools as well.  I am waiting for APSKT interview in Dec.  Keep my fingers crossed.  My girl is studying at happy KG - Creative Kindergarten.

As for my younger son [22 months old], just wonder if you know which of the following KG's PS : HKPS vs SC vs KV vs KM, will better prepare a boy for YW/DBS/APSKT....

入得DGJS 2nd in的, 不是小朋友smart; 就是家長本身的都高學歷的吧? 看見你們都是滿口英語, 應該是這2間學校喜歡的類型~~~ ^^

I agree that many DGJS 2nd Interview girls have other offers. All of them are good and we should proud of them.

Over these days while waiting, I really think those schools will select their own type of students and if anyone is not being seletected, not becx of he/she is not good enough, just becx it is not the best school for him/her.
