禽日囡囡又傷風，於是去接佢放學睇醫生。見到老師傾咗一陣，老師比咗囡囡評估試卷我睇，分別有三份試卷:
第一份試卷: 中文及常識
                    '-大約讀10個中文字
                     -常識約10題問 : (1)母雞會生(?)
                                        (2)秋天到，樹葉枯萎變(?)色
                                                   .........等。
                      -有圖畫 : 杯、書、波、食物盒及好似玩具，      老師講返學要帶咩呀?請圈出。
第二份試卷: 英文
                   圖畫顯示船及萍果，老師講"B"字小朋友圈圖畫。
                 

第三份試卷 : 數學

                    例 : 數件數及認邊個係1、2、3.....等。

各位家長唔洗緊張，老師話遲啲會比試卷大家。
另外，可以留意"動物園書本"左下角有無3張貼紙，如果有代表妳囝囝囡囡已經三份試卷取得100分，恭喜!恭喜!
            
                    

而我囡囡得2科100分，數學得85分，老師話佢數错咗件數。

剛剛打開囡囡本小小農埸書，但都見唔到有貼紙,即係無100分不過唔緊要啦，其實都預左，因為當日做評估，囡囡請左病假，到第2日做番時，都預左佢唔在狀態，所以惟有下次努力。係呢！請問知唔知幾時會有成績表？

呢個係小小評估，老師話全部試題都係上堂出過哂。而獎勵方法未必個個老師一樣呢?分數係其次，最緊要小朋友喜歡呢間學校。

係呀！老師都話呢個係小小評估，所以都沒有所謂，反而，囡囡真係讀得好開心，有時病左叫佢唔好返學，佢都唔肯，佢仲話好鍾意係根德園讀書，因此，我都好放心，完全唔會俾壓力佢,任得佢自然發展，皆因我相信根德園老師係好有經驗既！大家一齊努力啦！

Kentville let K1 students to do the 'drawing line exercise' in the first term and have written homework assignment in the second term, while most of the kindergarten would just have their writing in K2. Will you think it 's too fast to let the little one to pick up the pen?

我check 過啦，無貼紙喎，我問亞仔老師有無俾貼紙，佢話有，我問有幾多個，佢話1個，不過佢話唔到係邊度。唔緊要啦，最緊要佢鍾意返學同埋開心。

Dear TeresaMom,

I believe that 'drawing line exercise' &  'colouring a picture' are absolutely O.K. for a 3 years old kid. Well, about the written assignment in the second term, I think as long as their progress is not going too fast, our little one should be able to handle it, don't worry!

Based on what I've heard from other mummies, (whose children were graduated from Kentville, now studying in Primary school.)  Kentville already delay their timetable in writing training. Before, they started to give written homework assignment in the first term, not the second term. Besides, I know some other kinders also give out some writing assignments by the end of the first term. York is one of them.
