06-07準備入讀Kentville的家長請進~~

Hello all mami,

My son may be accepted he will leave his exiting school and go to another school by school bus.

As before I already told him (around in March), he will attend another school by school bus.  Because his school uniform not suitable for him lu (winter uniform).

Today, he ask me will go to new school today (because he changed the summer uniform today)? I answer him, no not today will be in Sept 06.

Then he ask me when is Sept? I said now is May then will go to June >> July >> Aug after Aug is Sept la....    

May be he have a little worry in the new school.  So if possible all mami told your baby (child) where they will be school later la...

hi alc, I asked KV this question during March, the receptionist told me "NO" wor! But she said the parents can follow kids in the first day ( 1-2 hours).Afterwards, no more visit!Except you take your kid to school by yourself, but don't allow stay long wor. And no parent day, if you have any problem, you can call the school. Also, the teachers will call you but not usually.

hi argus, do you have any KV's school acticles or magzines to share with 06 mami ,especially the Kent road campus, so that they can know more and worry less ar.

係真係有架...上學期我地已見左一次.下學期會係7月4-5日..
至於你話我有無咩kent既articles  or magzine...,咁我又無喎...學校極少出memo比家長架..
就算幾時做assessment,佢地都唔會同家長講.佢地話唔想家長比壓力小朋友喎..
你地想知咩..我知既都可以答你地既..

Kentville 係開學前會唔會有 open day 架?
話時話，我除了去 interview 同去交留位費的兩天去過學校後，
都未認真去參觀過間學校，
請問知唔知有無機會呢?

我想知老師會否主動與家長溝通, 而家長又如何知道小朋友在學校情況?會否很難揾老師傾計, 佢地咁多班我驚無時間覆家長電話啫   有無communication book呢
到依家始終最担心係了解唔到小朋友在學校情況, 我要返工無可能日日接送; 家校活動亦係我想知多d

請問大家知吾知道幾時開學呢???   我意思係可以由爸爸&媽媽陪同返學係在邊日呢?

大家吾駛咁擔心呀, kentville係無open day和一年只有2次家長日, 亦無特別的方法讓家長知道小朋友的學習情況. 但相反如果小朋友在學習或情緒上有問題老師是十分主動聯絡家長及提供方法 (*因我朋友的囝囝係05年k1的學生).

唔使擔心...學校雖然唔會有咩通告與家長聯絡..但如果小朋友係有問題既..老師都會主動打電話比家長架..
而老師通常星期六上午都會返學校..家長有問題,,可以打返去架.
當然平日亦可致電回去,只要留底message,office會通知老師架..
學校無communication book,只有 hand book,有事可寫紙仔夾在hand book給老師.

Yes, I will take my girl to school everyday and will also pick her up from school too.  I am a full time mum.  A little worried that she needs to adjust to the new sch and new people.....it took her about 6 wks crying when she started her nursery.

Oh, good you can pick your girl everyday.  My son also crying a few weeks when started his pre-nursary school.

That's why I already told him, he will go to another school on coming Sep.  * my reason is his school uniform too small. haha...

He seems understand and accepted and ask me when is Sep la? I answer him now is May, than will be June >> July >> Aug after Aug will go to Sept la.

This is a good way to tell the child, I havent told my girl yet, I think she would say No, I dont want to go etc.  She loves her present school, teachers and classmates very much, its good there will be a 6 wk break between the end of her nursery and the start of Kentville, and I will give her "brain wash" and get her ready to start a new page.
Oh, my girl should be going to Kent Rd in pm but somehow the list shown am, anyway, nice to meet you here.

Did you ask for Kentville to change the class to am? Kin Fung is Kent Road in am.
