一線LS定係”二線”IS？

有強調中文的國際模式學校以清華大學為target之一，將來可能越來越多。

Figures say more than speculation, please check the university placements of various IS (including the Chinese oriented ones) in HK and see how many are going to TsingHua or for that matter China, you might find a circle staring back at you. However your children could well be the pioneers, good luck :)

漢基好似已經要求學生住在杭州一年了.

you won't see the future if you look at the past.    BTW, I never said I would send my children to Tsinghua.

返去北大、清華讀學士學位，先唔講收唔收，對IS家長是否好吸引，亦好難講。你話回去讀master，有些一心識人，可能有意思，但第一個degree，唔會特别好想。

現時dse學生申請國內大學相信比國際學校學生多，報導說一般原因是考慮費用和希望建立人際網络，後者是否咁易真係唔知，可能國內有錢有影響力人士子女都往外國讀大學

I live in the present, and I look at present figures.

There are many "dreams" being touted in HK today, such as China unifying with Taiwan, China becoming the number 1 superpower in the world, HK becoming an independent country etc etc, obviously some dreams are more realistic than others. It doesn't matter what your vision of the future is as long as you act according to your beliefs, but sadly in today's HK we see far too many people saying one thing but doing the exact opposite of what they say.

說真的，我不認為子女未來讀大學，我有什麼話事權。基本上仔女大個左，仲要讀國際學校，做人獨立過傳統學校學生。你想佢讀牛津，佢係都要讀清華，或者你想佢讀清華，但最後退學去學做廚師。到底本科先到清華，定Master先去，當中變數太多。仲有性取向，政治立場，朋友等等都唔論到我地話事。

我自己覺得最緊要身心健康。

In the end you may not have control, but the decisions you make now on behalf of your children (such as sending them to IS) do open some doors while closing others, it is important that your decisions align with your vision and plans.

你嘅觀點太主觀了！呢個世界亦有好多有偉大成就的人係名校出身（上面已有jm 提過），當然亦有人冇讀書但做到有成就的，但你估個個讀書差的都可以有偉大成就嗎？！幾難先有一個！大把人讀唔成書都係求求其其過一世！一般人都想自己仔女將來機會大啲（就算冇偉大成就但會有優質嘅工作和生活），咁當然會想子女入到名校啦，人地名校keep得係top ranking 學校，無論環境同師資都一定係一流的，教出來的學生當然會好啲啦。
至於你講嘅專業人士如醫生，其實有好多疾病和醫療上嘅發現都係由一些好有貢獻嘅醫學教授所硏究出來的，呢啲醫學上的貢獻可以救到世界上好多人，呢啲唔係成就係咩！並唔係你所講做醫生就一定好似打份工咁囉。
如果你覺得讀乜學校唔重要，其實你唔需要入來國際學校呢個page留言囉

Very agree! The path that parents initially choose for their children of cuz affects the children’s future; in other words, it affects how the children choose their future and how they make their life decision. That’s why it is important for us the parents to choose the path for our kids because we all know the school environment, the qualification of the teachers, the social circle around the kids, and the connections from the parents all these do make a big difference.

同意10萬月薪係汶水。

IS 每月學費，最平都一萬。加埋校車，如兩個細路已經基本近三萬。

供樓／月租約兩萬起計。呢D 大額固定支出已共近五萬!

每入十萬，扣除稅項，實收只有八萬幾。

個GAP 只有三萬幾，要負擔食用，水電煤，交通，工人，保險，娛樂(未計旅行)，投資／退休保障。

如果讀IS 預埋出國留學，根本唔駛計。。。
