I also received the letter and change the interview time as well.

As informed by the staff, interview for both children and parent.  All parents, any ideas of the interview format ?

Just received phone call from PKC and the staff are kind enough to allow me to change the interview time. so that it will be crash with other interview.... :

Oh boy!  Does you kid realize he's going through all of this but at the end you will choose only one school?  My son already asked me why I'm working on interviews for schools these days and we only applied 2.

其實也沒甚麼特別，就在這裏覆你吧！

我和校方沒有甚麼特殊關係，只是一位很普通的G2家長。

現時學校的內聯網(e-class)的功能很多，其中一項是可向校內任何一位老師、職工和同學發放電郵。只要按：home→School info→Organization→class→student→然後選取某一位小朋友的名字，它的電郵地址便會出現(如：20050xxxx@e-class/puikiu…)，而20050xxxx便是他的學生編號。這是我們家長間互傳電郵時發現的，你可試試。

How about what to wear for parents?  Like office wear or casual is ok do you think?  Especially it's on weekend wearing suits will be quite awkward you know......

進行家長面試的心得因人而異, 一般來說只需穿上整齊和大方的便服便可, 亦不需要名牌, 因為培僑並非貴族學校.

在態度方面, 有些人提議別太高調, 我想高調的意思是例如大談自己的教育理念, 看來比老師更專業的樣子. 個人相信面試時家長能面帶笑容, 給人平易近人, 謙虛有禮的感覺會有優勢, 此外能表達認同和讚賞學校的教育理念, 願意與學校合作, 攜手培育子女等說話令人聽得舒服.

小朋友方面, 面帶笑容, 友善, 主動而能表現合作, 俗語說夠 "淡定" 的會有優勢. 有些老師曾說學生太被動, 難以配合活動教學, 但活潑也要守規距, 切記叮囑小朋友做完自己的工作紙後別過位找其他小朋友聊天 , 騷擾別人, 最好能安坐原位等待解散.

凡是指揮不到又不能賣保險的, 最好就是隨遇而安吧! 小小意見, 希望幫到各位.

諗番起果陣時面試的時候, D家長個個都好似背晒學校的網頁資料去面試咁, 我反而冇乜點講, 只係講個人睇法, 結果都入到. 表達認同和讚賞學校的教育理念, 未必能突圍而出呢!

不過每個人都有自己的策略, 其實唔駛諗咁多, 隨遇而安啦!
