of course it would be easier to take up other musical instruments with G4 piano knowledge already, but i must say that only starting to learn the violin at 10yr old is a bit late already becausemost start at 5 or 6 yrs old so they have a head start and it will be hard for your kid to excel unless he is really talented.
perhaps learning some less popular instruments such as the horn, the oboe etc. will be more advantageous

原來Nessun Dorma 有violin版的嗎? 請問要什麼程度才可拉到?

I1=約三級程度.....大概考既人會係四五級到喇,自己E2升上去既唔難,出面考入就都難架

亞囝三級程度,佢話好容易拉嘅,violin teacher都話唔難嘅,因要表演所以選容易但動聽嘅曲目嚟拉.我唔係violin expert, 所以唔知亞囝嗰個係唔係'easy' version,我估亞囝嗰個version,1or2級都拉到. 不過Nessun Dorma真係好正,所以好想揾piano score同亞囝合奏.

我自己(英國大學音樂演奏畢業)也是先學鋼琴﹐再學小提琴﹔這樣一定會比較容易掌握﹐尤其是讀譜﹐節奏﹐搵音﹐音準﹐音樂感方面﹐只是姿勢﹐運弓等小提琴獨有的技巧﹐要重頭學起。另外就是練習時間分配的問題-也是最重要的考慮﹗

好似一班七成以上都升到上去的,...總之拉到首歌,唔好甩甩CUT CUT就應該OK

應該無問題啦.....鋼琴G3, 6歲,都HANDLE到...就算無鋼琴底,而家見好多幾歲人仔都可以拉得好好....

同意,其實好多歌都要good vibrato, Nessun Dorma唔係咁細個可以拉到嗰種味道出嚟,但無計,係老師嘅選擇, 觀眾相信都會明白,對一班7/8歲嘅小朋友,可以有咩expectation.
