How is the halloween party held at Disneyland?  Did all of you enjoy?  Did Preston afraid the horrible look?

Thank you for teaching me 羅漢果水, I will try as Pak Yin also have cough now, my husband got a fever.  Pak Yin saw doctor yesterday, doctor said it is fine, only little running nose and little cough.  Just take some medicine two days, he will be fine.  Since Pak Yin insist to go to school, I give him a mask.  Since we are living the same place, may be we can meet together with our child in the club house at night if you are free.  Please let me know.

The day before, Pak Yin told me that they are now learning animals and Ms So asked them to bring one or two animals to school.  Then Pak Yin brought a little Zebra and Lion, those are his favourite animals.  He told me that Anson brought a dog, is it right?  Those animals will be kept in school for a while and let other children look and play.  Yesterday, Pak Yin told me that he has learned 馬 - 馬路.

Yes..the Disney was great...but i could not feel my feet when we returned home around 10.30 pm...
My son loved the Small World, Stitch, Buzz light year, 3D Micky.  He was not afraid of the Halloween Parade wor...When those ppl in halloween dressing (in Adventure land) came to scare the cousin (6 yrs old boy)..as soon as they saw my son..they immediately walked around...It was very funny.. .Hahaha.. i told my son because he ate veg. at lunch..so the devils are so afraid of him...

Hi mary,

Yes, Chum Him seems like music a lot, especially he likes rymthmic music and he also likes to beat the drum with his father.

But, for other stuff, he shows no interest at all, such as painting and drawing. The day before, we used water color to paint at home. I suggested him drawing an apple and he insists to use dark blue to draw an apple....really terrible to me and driving me crazy. He's no potential in painting at all.

Chum Him attends Tom Lee in Megabox 'cos mc2 schedule (Sat pm class) will crash his nap time, so we prefer going to megabox which is a noon time class. We will then have lunch in Megabox.

Yes, Anson did wear the grey jacket from Monday.  Today, she is wearing the long sleeves sport uniform too, but Miss So just called me not to wear the long sleeves coz it is not the right time to change the winter uniform.  However, wearing the grey jacket is OK.

Yes, Anson brought a small Dog doll and an animal book to school.

Weewee,

Children have their personal idea of design, they will think black apple is more beautiful than normal red one.  Anson loves drawing very much but she usually use black color rather than others esp. when filling colors on the pictures given by KV.  Just give good comments to Chun Him on his pictures, then he could draw better next time.  Anson can draw human face with hairs and rabbits in different appearance the coming days.

Yesterday, I asked him which team you belong to. He answer me apply and orange...,then confirm orange later. Afterthat, I asked him who also in orange. He answer me Adrian (..not really right sound), Kenneth.

Yes I know. I also don't want to hinder his thought , ideas and creativity. That's why whenever he finished his painting, I will praise him, though sometimes I cannot agree to what he paints from the bottom of my heart....haha

Wow, Anson's very great. She can draw meaningful stuff. I am longing for Chun Him's improvement in his drawing...

Hi parents!

Do you have any ideas if KV has English text books/story books 'cos so far they just use Longman Chinese story books for teaching. I remembered there's a book list specified when we paid the miscellaneous charges by I can't find it now. Maybe it's been submitted back to KV.

Any idea?

Also, may I know when they teach the alphabet, they will teach a - aeroplane, b - bird, e - elephant, etc, do you know if they can recognize the words (e.g. aeroplane, bird) or they just know how to pronounce?

I remember Ms So said that they have own designed material to teach English. I think do worry la... I believe kids will learn step by step in school.  Sometimes, I pay with Yuk Yuk by review such material (get back weekly). Usually he can speak correctly.

My daughter don't have text book even P.1 to P.2.

I have the book list with me.  It mentioned :
1. Printed Exercise Books   $295
2. Home Readers               $75
3. Textbooks from Longman.....

I think KV will teach the words with prounancation first coz theorically they havn't yet finish teaching kids all the English letters.

hihi all parents,

would like to share with u all, i just attended a 中醫talk, they said dont cook 川貝to children if they have 痰already. it will hold the 痰inside...we can cook 吉梗&甘草(cooked) with water for 20 mins..it can remove 痰 and can put some honey to make the taste better. but i yet to try...

btw, they said 麥芽糖is more health than honey. we can put this into any drink to children instead of honey..i try to find this..but only found one brand at supermarket, and the bottle is plastic ...so i dont like....will try try other shop whether have better one or not....

and also one soup is better for them..

苦瓜,ginger or 陳皮, 南北杏 + meat or can put some 無花果if like.... as 苦瓜is good for health...but usually they dont eat...so, can cook soup..

Thanks for your recipe of 羅漢果水. Adrian hates drinking plain water. that's why i've to make apple water or sugar cane water on alternate days. that's why i'm so thrilled to discover new recipe.

I hope Pak Yin will recover soon. I think it's because of 轉季, that's why kids get sick so easily. adrian has serious nasal allergy lately and got running nose all the time. Ms So said he's less attentive because he's busy rubbing his eyes and nose.

Yuk Yuk ma:
Yes, yuk yuk is in orange team. He sits with the same table with Adrian and Kenneth.

I agree with what kattang. as long as Chun Him likes to draw, let him draw (no matter what he uses to draw: paint brush or fingers, no matter how messy it is). Adrian is fond of drawing with whiteboard markers. i like those markers too. they can be easily erased by adrian and no hassle at all!!!
Anson is really brilliant. She could really draw sth!!! adrian could only draw an apple, a face (vaguely) and a bird.

Adrian didn't tell me he should bring in a book for this week animal theme until this morning. I said if he didn't tell me, I wouldn't know at all. Ms So then told me that kids are asked to  bring a book or a photo or a toy regarding animals. but i guess most of you have brought them in already...

Any plans for next Monday? We'll probably stay home and take a rest...
