Oh ! Then when Kristy's birthday, I shoud bring at least 2 pounds birthday cake, as I saw there is only 2 kids  are birthday on June & July in her class.  Or they would celebrate all classes together

I wrote a note to Ms. Cheung telling her that I will buy a birthday cake for the party since Ellie's birthday is at the month end.  And I also ask her what size shd I buy.  She wrote "大概1磅便可以" on my note.

I just think that 1 lb cake is not enough for 22 kids.  Maybe someone also expressed that they would also bring the birthday cake.  That's why she just asked me to prepare a 1 lb cake.

This Monday my maid told me that my girl searched for her toy when she came back from school and put something inside her school bag.  When I asked her, she told me that she had to bring square objects to school.  The thing she chose was correct and we further found some more items that were square in shape.  The books that she brought (little books which are square in shape) were now kept in school.
