Tsun Tsun is almost recovered but not Oliver. I took Tsun Tsun out today as my plan. We enjoyed so much. I will go back to SH on Monday night. I am looking still looking for a good wok and some chinese 'cool tea'.

Oh...you are now in HK! How are you & your boys lately? Looking forwards to seeing you back to Shanghai soon, and so we will go to Yum Cha again. My hubby was also sick and took 3 days off last week. I was busy at home to take care both Misaki and him, as he was not able to hold nor play w/ Misaki

Hi all,

Don't you forget us?!!  I am now in Taipei and already settled down.  We spent 5 days to unpack all our shippments (46boxes).  Was is speedy?   Bascially we did our job during Kaikai was sleeping at noon and night.  

Knowing that you guys have had some functions, I really miss you much and wanna to join.  I have no mama friends in here, hope a new group is coming sooner or later.

Hi all,

I forgot to tell you that I was in Suzhou last last weekend with my family and we went to Hangzhou last weekend.  Both trips were 'hot'.  I prefer Hangzhou because I got some travelguide from hotel during my last business visit and we followed thru and went to many good restaurants. We went to a very nice garden (old style) and there have some giant fish, my son enjoy feeding them.

I guess my job is busy but will try to go home before 7pm.  After dinner time, my son will go to my room to take bath and play with me until he sleeps, so we still have plenty of time.

Nov Mama, nice to hear from you, hope you'll enjoy your life in Taiwan. I keep tracking Kai Kai website to see if you've posted any new pics.

P.S. I think I have to attend some professional Mandarin course. The American here can speak very fluent Mandarin with standard accent. I'm the one speak bad prounuication Mandarin here. I have Rmb4000 allowance to study, I will use it for Mandarin course.

Have a look on "Modern Mandarin"- good reputation in the language learning field for expatriates in Shanghai.

Their staff are friendly, energetic and have good command of spoken English. Their system is well-organized and not too commercial. (at least to me.)

Highly recommended.(my girl spent one month for private tuitions there last summer):

Thanks for your recommendation, any good school in Puxi?  Our colleagues are taking the course from imandarin because it's located in our office bldg and we can entitle a corporate discount.  BTW, any good school here for business english writing? My ex-secretary is taking a business english course in universitiy, I have seen her material - it's not practical, they do a lot of translation from Chinese to English.

My sisiter's twins are here, they are attending a morning Mandarin class from Mon-Fri, voilin on Wednesday. They're bored for the rest of the day. Do you have any idea where can I send them to 'enjoy'?  They're 10. They want to learn pottery but I can't find any course near our apartment.

Learnt from Littlewing that there's a dept store at 淮海中路, which have a lot of babies stuff, but she forgot the name of the dept store.  Would anyone pls tell me?  I want to buy a highchair and a baby toilet there.

I have no idea about the one you're talking but you can try the one located in Nanjing Walkig Path. Sorry I don't know the store name but it's easy to find as it has a big children slide outside the store.

I joined "group" for my daughter at the beginning. The tuition fee is RMB2800/32-hours . However my daughter is too young to group with the other two children, she was 4 but the other two were 10, so the manager (Aileen) suggested to provide a private tutor to her with no extra charge. :

Forgot to tell you that we've been to the Railway Museum, my son loves it as he finally drive a train, from Shanghai station to Suzhou station - you know what it's when you take your son there.

We also went to Suzhou the week before and to Hangzhou last weekend, stayed one night there. We followed the dining guide and enjoyed many good food in HZ.

Tomorrow's plan : Century Park!  Then, I will take my Mandarin course in the afternoon when my son is sleeping.  I've booked a free lesson for him on Sunday afternoon in ilovegym.

My son changes back to bad temper after my parents come back.  He starts to throw thing again whenever he is unhappy.  He never walks, as my dad always hold him. I think I will let them go back to HK after summer - I prefer to take care of him by myself, although it's going to be very tired.  The ayi seems OK, I will push my mom to train her up.

I won't have any business trip in this job, except I will have some events/parties to attend in the evening, that's the only problem about taking care of him.

Thanks, just call & check but quite expensive, RMB100 / lesson / person.   Do you have another recommendation to fill up their afternoon? They are twins, everything have to pay double.

They are learning viloin from Tom Lee, RMB120 per person per hour. (They are very lazy, never practise so I really want to spend too much on them)   Their only interest is eating = but of course they won't be interested to learn cooking.

2)熱帶風暴(夏天人多, 但玩水氣氛好)
3)昆蟲館(交通方便, 陸家咀遊客區展館中, 算是入場最便宜的一間)
4)遊書局, 不用多解釋吧.
可先到位於延安東路的上海自然博物館看24萬件生物標本, 大至恐龍化石, 小至蚤子. 入場費只是RMB 5, 再經福州路打書釘至南京路, 便又一天了.
5)坐普通渡輪遊黃埔江, 在兩邊岸看歷史.
6)翻皂DVD私人影院 , 真想不到上海會有那些影碟賣不到, 現在好像45000那套也只是450.
