Thanks a lot.  Yes, they are in the same room.  My husband also said  I should leave home and let the 2 of them to spend more time together.  I'll try to do so.  I also bought the present for my maid to give to Horace too when she first came.

Yesterday I bought Horace an octopus card (for the first time) and told him that he is a big boy now.  He should understand that our maid is here to help us, not to take away his mummy... he seems to understand more and get very proud of himself for able to "du du" the octupus card.... and last nite was a bit better lah.

Hi all! I cannot go to the Parent's day tomorrow as nobody can take care my kids at the same time. I feel so sorry for that as this is the first Parent's day. My husband is quite "hon ku ku", I hope he is okay.

Anybody know if the kid needs to bring school bag on 28 Feb? and how about the worksheets? Eugene just finished it today.

You know, I can only relax when I am online visiting this forum, updating some of your news. Otherwise I may need to go to "Ching Shan" hospital.

Just went to the parent's day today... it's quite good as we can talk more to the teacher and also read some of their work in school... also we get their first report ah!!

Babyu, I think they need to bring school bag as usual on Feb 28... I don't think we need to bring back the worksheets.

Hey, don't say going to "Ching Shan" lah, you are really a great mum... you know how to relax yourself by looking at this forum... I think the most important thing for a mum is to know how to relax and balance and you've done it well!

I've waited for an hour also, but I think it's good since we can have a chance to talk with the teachers directly and can also have a look at their classwork.

Cyrus, I was sitting in another classroom while I was waiting.  I should still be in the room at around 11:10.  I was thinking if you are Cyrus also.  Did you bring Cyrus along too, and also your husband?  I'm also not sure if that was you, so I didn't call you    I can recognise you next time la

haha, yes, I also realised that they got daily homework already!  I'm still not getting used to it.  Miss Wong also told me in the parent's day that students will be doing projects in the 2nd term, so that means there'll be more work for parents also.  I hope I can manage that.  Sometimes I feel that it's difficult to collect the materials they need in such a short period

EllieTo, 我都覺得佢地有時太short notice要找資料。前日叫小朋友帶春天的圖片或圖書回校，今日又派左張工作紙又係貼春天的圖片，有時都唔知貼咩圖片好。

Looks like every class is different... we don't have the worksheet about Spring and I haven't heard about bringing spring related stuff to school... instead we have to bring a flower to school next Monday.

I called Miss Wong last Friday, asking her about their expectations on the materials and more importantly, the time they expect the child should bring the materials back school.  Like what Cyrus said, they asked children to bring pictures / books on Spring on Thu, but if I really do not have those at home, the soonest I can provide it to them is next Mon.  Miss Wong said that they expect children to bring back the materials asap   However, she also said that they focus more on the process that parents and child spend together in the research, rather than the end result.  She also suggest searching through the internet should be the most convenient mode for getting materials in short period.

I also asked her about the need to bring pencils and rubber to school.  She said that the school will provide those to children.  She also said that if we're buying pencils for children, she recommends those in triangular shape, for them to grip on it more easily.

I bought a box (10 pencils a box) in normal stationary shops, at around $2x.  If you have have friends / relatives who are members of 教協, they should have these also, I believe with cheaper price tim!

我的經驗是很快便會改回使用普通鉛筆，因此三角筆不要買得太多。附帶一題，我們當年是在晶晶（天后）購買的。那些三角筆的筆幹較粗，好像就是當年學校所使用的。（不知仍在使用否。）但顏色較淺，也不太理想。

I can't recognise who's Johnson, but Andrew always mention his Chinese name at home, so I think they are quite good friends, we'll go to the party.

Did you bring Eugene to Johnson's b-day party on Sat?  I think I met you.  I was sitting with my husband and you asked for Johnson.  Then you said bye-bye to us.  I think you're in very good condition after birth   The kids were very happy, but my son got infected after the party.  Anyway, I think he'll get the virus sooner or later, since I found that many children were coughing
