1) Any difference between interveiwed by Mrs Dai alone or with teacher as well?
2) Did Mrs Dai drop notes for 'targeted' girls only?

My girls's interview started with the simple question "Are you in am or pm class?" She answered 我讀... , 不過..., 所以我其實⋯。The interview was then led on to follow up questions that brought out her strengths. Of course we were lucky.
But I think it's good to encourage the kids to always answer more. I told her that the principals and teachers must be very tired with all the interviews, try to guess what they wanted to ask next and speak it out yourself. They will think you are helpful and sweet!

What I understand from old girls of DGS is that the Headmistress has her own judgement and perception to pick the right type of girl that fit DGJS. She does not need to ask complicated questions. Once the girl answer a few words through some simple questions, she will know if you are the type.

Agreed. Just be natural. Mrs Dai can tell who is the one from her professional judgement.

However, my daughter said most of the time she was interviewed by another teacher.  Mrs Dai only asked her two simple questions 1. What is your name? 2. Can you tell me what is happening in this picture?

Does it matter?
