Sorry but I really have no knowledge of the kindergartens in TKO to comment.  You can refer to the list of one-dragon kindergartens on the first post.  I don't think there are any ones in TKO area.

Hi! My son is born in Feb. 2009. He is now studying pre-nursery at St. Johannes College.  Also, he got a pre-nursery offer from York for 2011/12.  As I hoped that my son could get a 一條龍 school, which kindergarten would be better for him.   In fact, I think St. Johannes College is OK.  However, I'm much concerned whether it is more difficult for my son to get a better secondary school placement once he completed the primary section at St. Johannes College.  Some of the parent said that St. Johannes College is better for the children who planned to study in oversea after they completed primary school.  Is this the truth?  In addition, do you know which school is a 一條龍 with catholic background as we are catholic.

At the moment there are still no one-dragon schools combination (kindergarten-primary) for boys only with Catholic background, unfortunately.  For co-ed schools, there are St. Johannes and Rosaryhill.

I don't really research in detail for the curriculum at St. Johannes.  However, the choice for being secure a P1 seat is a rare option and very limited.  I believe the most important thing is whether you agree the teaching philosophy and if so, then it is a good choice.

I do worry if many of the kids will head overseas to continue their study, then it may affect the banding of the primary school when it comes to secondary place allocation.  I believe it will be a concern you will need to try to learn more from existing parents.  Since I cannot find this information from their school website.

True Light and Kau Yan.  However for boys, basically these two can only secure thru primary school only.

There are not many choices really.

For (1), partially correct I would say.  I am not sure if that's what you meant but as you know there are quite a number of kindergartens for girls so some of them would have headed to these kindergartens in K1.

Concerning (2), I can't say if staying in KM then your daughter won't have good P1 placement.  But you would try to apply for these girls' kindergartens too for K1, right?  So as others too so the application process begin with K1, not P1.
SHCK doesn't have any special preferences for super big B.  The decision is mainly based on observation of the kid during the interview.

(3) KM and SKH is very different in style.  I believe what you should do is probably good to start understand the kind of primary schools (school path) which fit your daughter and your family first.

(4) I guess most people would say Net 31 is better if you compare to net 66 (where do you live?)  since there is St. Mary's in net 31.  But nt 66 is not bad if you will consider schools in this net.

(5) No special techniques really for SH interviews.  Just spend time with your daughter, interact and talk to her, let her know her surrounding.  They are looking of good characteristics, not special things the kids know.

There is no such thing as good in universal term.

Just try your best and the schools which appreciate her beauty will give her the offer.

Rather than trying to match what a school want, the right school will have their arms open.

I am living in the Southern District of Hong Kong (School Network No. 18) and my baby boy is expected to take the N-class in 2013.  

I am a newcomer of this topic and I don't have too many ideas on the choice of kinders.  Both my husband and me were garduates of SPCC (secondary school only) and the SPCC Primary School is obviously one of our choices.  Do you have any recommended kinders for us in Hong Kong side?

For some degrees of certainty, Braemar Hill is the logical choice for those who target SPCC.  However, according to their current parents, the privileges they used to enjoy are no longer being provided so the number of acceptance is not as high as in the past.  Of course this is just one of the many factors to explain this.

Another popular choices are the two SKH kindergartens.  But frankly, I guess it is the character of the child and the preparation that make it happen.  You two as their graduates should have the first hand knowledge of what type of students that they like.

SPN should likely be the only one.....  do you consider Lingnam and KCS as one-dragon too?  They also have pre-nursery and primary school too, but without secondary school technically related.

Braemar Hill is 寶山幼兒園

SKH are 聖公會幼稚園 and 聖公會幼稚園（畢拉山）
