Thanks for your sharing and, of course, your son's direct input.
Regarding stickers, my son's teacher also use that but it seems it doen't provide him with the incentives (he is the kind of no matter what !!?? , he will only action according to his feeling! )
Regarding the sight-reading homework you recommended, my son also have the same exercise and he is currently using book 3 (but still weak on sight reading. The teacher said he only use his ears and his oral should not be a problem. But, we cannot imigine how's his sight-reading )
Regarding practising piano, he knows that continuing practicing is a must for learning piano. But, again, he complained that he felt he is doing good enough (in actual fact, it's not!! ) If I force him, he have been practicing for 5 hours a day during the competition period of last year's Music Festival (coz time is really running short during that period as he just learn for half an year for enrolling the last competition!)

問亞囝,佢初頭答自己都唔知點解............再傾下佢話發覺依家d譜難左好多,唔似以前唔洗多練,已自覺ok,佢話依家曲譜係挑戰難度,另佢又話自己大個仔,一張開手,可彈多個音,so彈得比前輕鬆.............最重要另一人物,亞囝的首領(即佢表哥,佢地好close,每星期玩在一起)會每天at least練一小時琴,甚至昨天練左四小時琴,表哥係佢偶像,so好影响到亞囝,表哥話學琴係要練琴ga,而亞囝樂理功課有問題,亦係表哥教 
而我覺得另一原因,鋼琴老師好錫亞囝,佢做得好會送sticker,當儲一定數量sticker,老師會去買份禮物獎勵佢!!但相反做得差,要罰留堂(試過練唔熟,上堂彈唔好,罰左over 1 hr練琴比老師聽 - 不另收費 )無情講!!......so compare取獎好過取罰 la 
以上因素,令佢肯自己要練琴!! |
