Since we're now practicing 5-day week, official hours extended to 5:18.  I don't think I can reach the school by 5:30, but probably can come before 6:00.

Hi all ! I have given birth to my daughter on 7 Feb. She weigh at 8 lb. Both myself & my daughter is in good health. This time I did so well in labouring, only 3 hours and my wound is recovering well, no need to sit on the float. I am so happy about it.

However, my agency told me yesterday that my maid has disappeared, unable to look for her. I almost fainted since I have been waiting for her for almost two months. I cannot look after Eugene and my baby at the same time. Anyway the agency promised me to look for maid who is immediate available. Having a maid is really "ma fei".

Congratulations      and welcome little chubby girl    Although people said that giving birth to the second child usually faster, 3 hours is really fast!

Don't worry so much on the maid, may be you can try to find 鐘點 to help out for the time being.  Take more rest.

Yes, I also think you should hire a part time to help you  out... do you have any relative helping you.. you need to give yourself some rest.  Take good care!!

Hi all. Thanks for all your care. Both myself & my baby is doing good. I am now trying my best to breast feed my baby. My baby is not sucking so well so I have to pump the milk out. Really time consuming.

Yeh I have found a local helper already, it double the cost of the filipino maid. Nevertheless, I have confirmed another maid already. She will finish the exitising contract by 24 Feb and I hope she can be with us by mid March. Pray for me my friends!!

Horace mama, how is your maid doing? It's happy to know that my girl has the same birthday with Horace. We can celebrate together.

BTW, Myself & my husband cannot attend the PTA meeting. Can anyone kind enough tell me anything about it?  Thanks a lot !!

Nothing special was discussed on that day.  The PTA cabinet just introduced themselves (both parents rep. and teachers rep.).  There were also 2 class reps. for every year (1 am 1pm).  After that they just took photos and then it's the talk by the Dr.  The whole meeting ends at around 7:15pm.  Frankly speaking, you have not missed much.

My maid is doing ok... but it really takes time for my son to accustom to that... don't know when he will allow my maid to take a bath with him...

I will pray for you and hope your maid will be good as well.

For the PTA meeting, the candidates in the cabinet all have 2 children studying in SKH.  The chairman is a male and the other members are almost all housewife.  

Today I went to school and helped out with the New Year Fair at the playground.  It was fun.  They have different counters playing toys, draw "Fai Chun", play lion dance, eating etc.... the children have fun!!

I didn't know that there was a fun fair at school yesterday!  I thought it was just the monthly birthday party!  Andrew didn't talk about that too.

I realised that last week Andrew brought some worksheets (inside a paper folder) home, do you know that if they are suppose to complete those during the CNY as homework and then submit them back after holiday?  I got confused

My son said the teacher told him that it was for him to work at home only, no need to take them back to school.

Maybe the teacher knows I am a housewife, so she invited me to help with the Lunar New Year Fair at school.

Hi all !Kung Hei Fat Choy & Good health to everybody !!Thanks to Ellie & Horace mama updated me the PTA meeting. I have been super busy recently as you may imagine, I need to take care Eugene & baby plus breast feeding. Luckily I have an Auntie to help me out during the day, I still survive up till now.

Besides, I really want to go to the Parent's meeting together with my husband but I still need to figure out who to take care two kids. Real headache !!

You are doing really good already.  Are you breastfeeding for the whole day?  You are such a great mum.  

My maid is doing ok but my son still doesn't accustom to him yet.  Last night my son has woke up 7 times just to say he doesn't want our maid.... all of us couldn't sleep.... it will really take some time for him to accustom to our maid.

You're doing super already!  CNY is used to be a very busy time of the year + you have 2 kids + breastfeeding + you don't have a maid at the moment AND you still have time to go online     I really admire your time management!  I think I can't do so many things if I were you!

I can understand that you're longing to go to the parents day, but it's still within the 1st month of your pregnancy, is it OK if you go around?  My hubby and mom-in-law didn't allow me to go anywhere after I bore Andrew.

Is your maid staying in the same room as Horace, so he kept on waking up at night?  Can you try to let them spend more time together alone, so that they can communicate more?  I've read from some other posts, that some mammies will buy a present for the kid, and ask the maid to give to the kid, (i.e. pretending that it's the maid who bought a present for the kid), so that the kid will accept the maid.  But I donno whether it works or not

Anyway, I think kids adapt to new things very quickly, and hope that this problem won't persist for long
