另外,課外活動大約花多小錢?......約五,六仟.

小朋友有沒有覺得很辛苦?還是很樂意?.....他很樂意上他喜歡的.

誰帶小朋友?....唔係好明?

You should try to call Kentville in mid of Sep to ask for the application procedures. I remember that the kindergarten started giving out application form in Oct, interviews started in Nov.
難唔難入? I guess it's not very easy but not too difficult. Go to a good photo studio to take a nice picture of your daughter. A nice student photo is very important. You may consider to do some mock interviews with your daughter at home. Do some matching, facial features identification, etc. Teach her to greet teachers politely, push back the chair after interview and say thank you to teacher at the exit.

我囡囡而家就泥15個月,咁應該係今年9月定下年9月報名?

另外,想問問大家到升小學係咪會升番自己住果區?因為見好多mama都係其他區過泥讀.thanks!

hi mtkdc,

我囡囡現在讀kent 的k1, 起初都好擔心囡囡"自由人"接受不來好tough 的敎學方式, 因pre-school 時用 free-style的方法,佢最醒就係學識打交, 因時常俾人打..

..
但佢現在好開心, 又學得快又會同同學仔相處, 見佢哋個個人仔都好醒目開朗, 仲進步得好快, 是我意料之外...所以好放心& 開心無選錯學校俾囡囡.

In choosing a school, I look at my kid's learning style rather than his characters. An active kid can be very concentrated if he finds the topic / class interesting. An active kid can learn things quick but what he learns can be very "linear". That means he knows the thing but is not able (or don't know) to use another angle to do / think about it. Kentville's teaching style is good for those kids who learn things in a linear way. THIS IS ONLY MY PERSONAL COMMENT, PLEASE DON'T ATTACK ME ABOUT IT.

On the contrary, I concern more how the school's teaching style would affect my kid's original characters. That's why if your child has a curious mind (which is good), then I think 浸幼 (your another choice) is more suitable to fullfil his learning needs. Again, this is personal comment, I don't want to offend this school or parents who have chosen this school.

您們好! 由上年開始為小朋友search心儀的幼稚園到interview至被取錄... 大家都辛苦呢(家長及小朋友)!
相信大家都已決定小朋友的"去向"了...

不如大家再update吓份list呢(因本人相信經過數月後,有部份原本接受kentville的家長或已轉移其它kinder, 或當時applied轉上午班/waiting list的家長已有回覆等).
