Nice to hear that Brian had a good time and behaved well. Preston likes to take the ferry(we just did on sat. from central to TST, just for fun). Luckily he did not get seasick last time we went to Macau. I guess don't let them eat too much b4 going on the ferry may help.

Brian also likes to take ferry from TST to Central.  However, 1hr10min may be too long to him for the trip to Mainland.  What's more, he has been in the coach bus for 45 minutes before taking the ferry.  I agree with you that not letting him eat too much may help.

I didn't find any course suitable for Brian's age in Hung Hom area.  Will consider the one in LH again.  See if seats are available.

Preston will take daycamp (9-4)  at heep hong from 24 -28/7, then some summer course (1 hr only) everyday at Hung Hom for the week of 31/7 to 4/8. Also, he will have swimming classess in the afternoon. After the courses, we plan to go to Singapore for a few days b4 school starts. I hope is not too much for him.

Preston suddenly vomited yesterday. I think it's something he had at school ( he started whole day again yesterday). He rarely vomits and it's the 1st time he vomited 3 times last night. Fortunately, he's fine today but he did not go to school today.

I brought Brian to school this morning and I saw Preston.  Miss Hung checked on him and put on the cardigan for him.  He looked good this morning.

Wow, he's got busy schedule during summer vacation.  So, your helper is also busy taking him to different courses.

Preston is fine now, but he lost a lot of weight and he looks so skinny now.
Will take a long time to gain back.

have your child changed aged 3 milk ?  mine just started about a week but i suspected he's a bit allergy.  in fact, i used the same brand.  don't know why.

Good to know Preston is recovered.  Brian got diarrhea since Thursday night.  Recently, he used to put his fingers into the mouth and I guess this may be a cause of it.  He is better today.  I hope he will be fine very soon.

Which brand of milk formula is your son using?  My son used to have A+ no. 3.  However, I heard from other BK moms that A+ no. 4 is not good, so I changed the brand.  He is now using Pediasure, as recommended by Lydia.

My son was allergic to A+, so I changed to Nestle after the allergy test last Sept.  Just switched to 3+ formula.  Seems that he's getting better these 2 days, not scratching much.  Since the findings of the allergy test told that he's allergic to quite many kinds of food, maybe he's taken some of them that I'm not aware of.  And, dust may also be a factor.

Preston is taking Pedisure, so far OK la. This formula can continue until 10 years old.

Will you go to the game day on 8/7? We attended last year, it's fun. A lot of games and you can see how your kids perform in some motor skills, e.g. jumping with both legs, hopping, etc. Hope to see you all.

You may consider using the current milk formula for a while and observe.  It may not be good to chance the milk formula often.

Lydia, you joined the game day last year ?  Was it open to public ?

We will also join.  Unfortunately, our kids are not in the same time session.  Anyway, hope to see you all.

I don't think it opens to the public. Preston was a student since Feb, 05 so he joined it last year.

See.  So, I guess Preston has started to take PN course since he was two.  He's been going to PN school for almost one and a half year.  Am I right ?  Same class, same teachers for both years ?

May I know what sort of games did they prepare last year?  I am sure kids will enjoy.

By the way,  Brian will join a Heep Hong summer course in August.  The timing is not good.  It's from 7 Aug to 11 Aug.  Brian can only join the first four days and will go to LH on 11 Aug.

I did not quite remember what sorts of games they played. One game I recalled was that they lined up and then took turns to jump over loops, then walked on narrow bars and threw bean bags....
You can see all the motor skills they learn at school.

Yes, Preston studied 1 and 1/2 yrs of nursery, in the begginning they allowed him to go on K1, but after they checked again, he is not old enough to go to K1 (just 22days), so he continue PN. But it's good in a way, he is one of the biggest in class, he takes time to build up his confidence and he is doing quite good now. Miss Hung is the same but the English teacher is different, the last one was very sweet and nice and Preston liked her very much.

In this era, it seems that kids have to be equipped with a lot of skills.  Music & art skills seem to be quite standard.  I heard from a friend of mine that her daughter (at the age of 4) is going for phonics & ice-skating classes besides the above.  To a certain extent, if one can support financially, I think we as parents will not hesitate to get kids learn more.  Yet, I'm not sure if that's too much for the kid.  Consider she's just 4.

I just wonder whether this is good for the kids.  Parents always want their kids to learn more.  They want them to be more competitive.  However, some kids may not like it.
